Very frustrating experience. I was hoping to make my Dremel 300 more versatile by getting a shaper/router table, but the build quality was just not up to par. The elevation screw spring was jammed into the plastic, which made it impossibly difficult to screw/unscrew in order to mount the dremel. I ended up having to find needle-nose pliers to unjam it and bend it out of the way. Story done? Nope.
Once mounted, I discovered to my chagrin that the mount isn't perfectly perpendicular. It was about 2-3 degrees off, when comparing my routing bit with an engineer's right angle tool. So anything I did route would be imperfect. It's a shame about this, I would have gladly paid more for a cast/machined setup from dremel than just ABS plastic at a lower price point.
Fence adjustment was also poorly molded, so the adjustment piece was not perfectly flush with the rest of the fence. Another strike for it, and too much effort would go into it to make it work that I would rather just buy a dedicated router used elsewhere.
