Cut-off wheels make it easy to cut bolts or screws or make slots in rusted or stripped bolts and screws for removal with a screwdriver. The cut-off wheel cuts only along its edge.

Metal Cutting - EZ Lock

EZ Lock Thin Cut Reinforced Cut-Off Wheel

The EZ409 is a reinforced cut-off wheel ideal for making thin cuts in metal. It makes 2X more cuts compared to the Dremel 409. Use with the EZ402 Mandrel. 5 wheels per pack.

EZ Lock Reinforced Cut-Off Wheels

These EZ Lock Cut-Off Wheels are great for making cuts in metal. They make 2X more cuts then their regular counterpart (EZ426CU vs. 420 and EZ456 vs. 426). Use with the EZ402 Mandrel.

EZ406 includes 1 EZ402 Mandrel and 5 EZ456 wheels.

EZ426CU and EZ456 include 5 wheels per pack.

EZ456B is pack of 12 EZ456 wheels.

EZ Lock Premium Metal Cutting Wheel

The EZ506CU cutting wheel features a super abrasive grit called cubic boron nitride or CBN. CBN used on a cut-off wheel allows the wheel to remain sharp longer, stay cool, and it won’t shrink. The 506CU cutting wheel lasts at least 20 times longer than our fiberglass-reinforced cutting wheels based on internal testing. Use with the EZ402 Mandrel.

Wood, Plastic and Hard Material Cutting

Wood Cutting Wheels

Dremel 543 and EZ544 are both carbide cutting wheels for cutting and shaping on woods, fiberglass, plastics and laminates. Do not use them on metals. For 543 the mandrel is included; for EZ544 use the EZ402 Mandrel.

Dremel 546 Rip/Crosscut Blade is a long-lasting, mini circular blade that cuts both with and across the grain on wood and wood-like materials. It is designed to be used only in conjunction with the Dremel 670 Mini Saw Attachment. Therefore, no mandrel is used.

Plastic Cutting Wheels

The EZ476 is a reinforced cut-off wheel ideal for making clean cuts in plastics. Use with the EZ402 Mandrel. 5 wheels per pack.

Hard Materials Cutting Wheels

Dremel 545 and EZ545 are both diamond wheels great for cutting, sawing and carving hard materials; such as, marble, concrete, brick, porcelain, ceramics, hard epoxy and soft and hard wood. Do not use them on metals. For 545 use the 402 Mandrel (included); for EZ545 use the EZ402 Mandrel.

Drywall, Multipurpose, Tile and Grout Cutting Bits

Drywall Cutting Bit: 560

The Dremel 560 gives you fast, clean cuts in drywall.

Use with the Dremel Multipurpose Cutting Attachment (model 565).

Multipurpose Cutting Bit: 561

The Dremel 561 cuts hard wood up to 3/8" and soft wood up to 5/8". Also cuts plastics, fiberglass, drywall, laminate, aluminum and vinyl siding.

Use with the Dremel Multipurpose Cutting Attachment (model 565).

Tile Cutting Bit: 562

The Dremel 562 cuts ceramic wall tiles, cement board, and plaster.

Not for use on floor tiles.

Carbide Grout Removal Bits: 569 and 570

The Dremel 569 and 570 are ideal for replacing wall and floor grout or removing grout to replace broken tiles.

I purchased this wheel specifically to cut tiles for a mosaic project I'm creating as a gift. I want clean, precise cuts, and a very specific look to the mosaic that will surround a painting. I used it today, and sliced off a straight piece with zero issues, and even created the rounded top to a point that is the top of a heart. Both were created beautifully and I anticipate finishing this gift within two weeks.As a side note, I'm soaking the tiles before I begin cutting, I'm taking breaks to spray additional water on the tile, and I'm only working in 30 minute stints (the amount of time it takes me to carve up a tile into the necessary pieces). I'm glad I went for this instead of the cheaper product.

After losing patience with a glass cutter, I decided I wanted something more heavy duty. So far I've used the 545 to cut the tops off of thick glass bottles. It still requires a little patience and skill, but it gets the job done much faster and smoother than any other method I've tried. It does come with the pictured mandrel (which was one of my concerns) I went to Home Depot just to price match and Amazon definitely gives you a better deal.
I have nothing negative to say about this product, but if it were to be improved in any way, the diameter of the wheel is just small enough to where its difficult to cut all the way through a round glass without having to tilt the Dremel to get a deeper cut.
Will definitely buy again if I need a replacement.
