Quality Construction for Precise Cuts the First Time
Designed for use with the 335 Plunge Router and 231 Shaper/Router attachments, these bits feature high-quality construction that allows you to make exceptionally precise cuts the first time, saving you energy and stress. They're also well-suited for detailed work, such as building and sanding dollhouse furniture, model trains, or miniature buildings and planes.

User-Friendly Design and Easy Insertion Process for Longer Life
Incredibly easy to use, these bits work best when inserted all the way into the tool and then backed out slightly before tightening down. This insertion process provides plenty of shank for the collet or chuck to hold the bit in place. For optimum precision and longer life, it's also important to secure objects to a stable surface while working--if chattering occurs, simply increase the speed. It is also important to keep a light touch so the speed of the tool, not the strength of your arm, does the work.

Variety of Bits for a Range of Projects
This set comes with a total of six bits, including a 3/32-inch piloted beading bit, 1/4-inch core box bit, and 1/2-inch chamfer bit that all work well for inlaying and mortising wood and other soft materials.

About Dremel: A History of Brilliance and Innovation
Founded in 1932 in Racine, Wisconsin, Dremel is the industry leader in rotary tools. The company owes its success to the inventive genius of its founder and namesake, Albert J. Dremel. In his lifetime, Mr. Dremel owned 55 patents on a wide range of products from electric erasers to a gas-powered rotary lawn mower. His most famous and important invention was a high-speed rotary tool, dubbed the Dremel Moto-Tool. Compact, lightweight, and perfect for a wide range of jobs, the rotary tool was an immediate hit with hobbyists and eventually became accepted as one of the greatest inventions of the 20th century. Today, the Dremel name remains synonymous with utility, durability, and innovation.

Most of these work really well with the router table accessory. I have noticed that cutting slots you need to do them starting out at a low cut depth and gradually raise it and swipe your work again. Other than that, the only other thing is that these don't have a bearing guides, just a flat top if it applies to the type of bit. They still work though, just don't rush the job.

I use these router bits and the two styles of routers for building minuature wild west buildings and doll house furniture
With these bits I can make very percise cuts and with the finished product I've sold them for as much as 250-300 dollars each. My only regret is that dremel would make some other types of router bits just like the big boys.

These bits have worked out very well. I've put them through a tough test too. I was working with some 1/4" and 3/8 " ply wood. I was amazed how well they worked. Anybody who has used a power tool will tell you that hard woods and plywood are tough on blades and bits. Thumbs up Dremel

This router bit set is a great addition to any woodworker's Dremel tool. We all know that the Dremel is a great tool to have around for dozens of tasks that you never imagined using it for. I bought my Dremel because I had built some drawers for a chest of drawers and forgotten to route the dado for the drawer bottoms into the drawer fronts of four of the drawers before I glued them together. I was able to use my router to get cut most of the dado, but I needed the dremel to get the last 2" by the edge that my router couldn't reach. These bits and the little Dremel worked perfectly.

I recommend the router bit set as an accessory to your Dremel for small tasks where your full size router won't fit. The bits attach right to the collet of your Dremel tool, so you don't need any other attachments to do freehand routing.

They've he'd up well and they do as you'd expect. Issues arise with the use of a dremel as a router. Sometimes the bits catch, but usually if you take your time you don't maul your work and send it flying off your work station. If you have a real router, use it, the bits are WAY cheaper and work MUCH better. These bits aren't carbide, and they loose points on price. Bit steep for five bits...I got like 20 for $20 at Lowe's on sale, then I got a 150 piece kit from Blue hawk a few months later for a similar price. My recommendation? Be patient, check clearance sales at stores or returns that are in decent shape, and from time to time you'll luck out. Paying full price isn't necessarily the best option, but if you got the money and want the convenience, fire away. They work, and do as they should, but are limited by the tool, and the material.

I bought this set for use with a Dremel Trio, unfortunately these bits are not the right size. I thought I was OK when I saw that the one bit I was interested in, the "615", was in the set, but it turns out that the one I need is called "TR615". This naming is really confusing and could have easily been avoided.

I used three of the tools in the set, with my Dremel Tool plunge router set and I was amazed at how well the bits routed the soft pine I was working with. The bits are not carbide, so expect them to dull quickly if used on hardwood. You can't route as quickly as a large 1 hp, or more powerful router, but for small hobby crafting they are excellent. I highly recommend them.

I haven't used these enough to really judge longevity, but they've worked supremely well so far. At first use, I didn't tighten the bit well enough and it climbed out. For the cost and experience so far, I definitely recommend.
