I have had some type of Dremel tool for more than 30 years. Love them. But I have never had a tool that made my butt pucker like the little grinding wheels of old. I remember a super thin wheel that would explode if you hiccuped when grinding with it. Cutting required absolute slow perfection moving it through the cut in a straight line. And with those frequent "unintended rapid disassembly" moments of the grinding wheel, you had to fumble with that ultra tiny bolt fastener that you would never find a replacement for at your local hardware store.
This new unit is great. Simple twist to mount a new wheel on the arbor. Wheels are much more sturdy. Slightly out of balance means running a slower rpm but cut is good overall in comparison.
