The Dremel Ultra-Saw was designed for users who want a tool that can do everything the Dremel Saw-Max can do, and more. With a 7.5-amp motor and a durable drive train, the Ultra-Saw has more power for making long cuts. A metal foot and guard resists the heat generated by heavy-duty jobs like grinding and cutting metal. Large, 3.5- and 4-inch cutting wheels give our small circular saw fast cutting speeds and improved performance in a wide variety of materials. Plus, with our exclusive accessories, the Dremel Ultra-Saw offers the added ability to perform surface preparation tasks like removing paint, rust and thin-set mortar.

My only dislike is that it does not have a safety device that protects you from the spinning blade. You have to be careful not to contact the blade or set the saw down while the blade is spinning.
Cuts through wood like butter: particle board, cypress-covered plywood, pine framing wood (1 x 2)
Haven't used the other blades but can update when I do.
First problem... its LOUD: its loud because its FAST. The Worx saw comes in at about 3500 RPM while the Dremel US40-03 pulls in at 13000 RPM. Even with a 120 tooth blade on the Worx saw, I couldn't make fast clean cuts... the US40-03 on the other hand did an amazing job. I literally destroyed 2 panels with the Worx before I ran back to this saw. Also, high spindle speed somehow almost eliminates chips, and prevents this saw from walking off track... I can't put my finger on it, but maybe its acting like a gyroscope, or the material just doesn't get a chance to fight the saw when its rotating so fast. Equipped with a simple clamp-down rail I can do what is only possible with a $600 track saw.
Second problem: It can't make deep cuts... I thought this was a problem at first, but since my primary goal was to cut cabinet finish panels, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. I was litterally setting the panel on a piece of cardboard, and cutting with the Dremel. The material would cut perfectly... with no chipping... and the cardboard underneath would get scored. A few times the blade got to the plastic work table I was using, but not a show stopper.
Anyways... while this may not be the perfect saw, trust me: it is handy and can do some things the other tools in your toolbox can't. Just make sure you get hearing protection. Everyone pretty much agrees this saw is LOUD, to the point that it may permanently damage your hearing.
So I climb up on a ladder with the Ultra-Saw in my hands and a metal blade installed. Glad I was wearing goggles because as soon as the blade hit the sheet metal, it was spark city!! But I gently lowered the spinning blade into the metal, performing a plunge cut (on a ladder, reaching over head). The 7.5 amps cut through the sheet metal like butter!! I was done cutting in 2 minutes, kind of disappointed no one was around, it was a great show. Anyway, this thing is big and powerful and I was comfortable using it right out of the box. I'm looking forward to years of great service with this tool!!!
I've used it for at least a dozen little projects, and I'm glad I made the purchase.
The only thing I wish... is that there would be a slightly greater cutting depth - say... maybe another 1/4 to 1/2 inch.
But the power of the saw and the quality of the saw and blades was well worth the price.
I'd recommend this for anyone who tends to have little projects needing such a tool.
