Dri-Eaz 1200 Dehumidifier
Remove moisture to prevent mildew, mold or other damage
Use this commercial-grade portable dehumidifier to dry out damp basements, shops, garages, utility rooms and more – any area where humidity can cause musty smells, rust corrosion, rot and mildew or even mold if left unchecked.
With its large wheels, the 1200 can go anywhere, so keep it on hand for leaks or flooding – or anytime humidity levels spike.
Automatic pumpout allows continuous operation with no worries about emptying tanks or overflowing trays. The easy-to-read digital controls display multiple languages and maintenance codes.
- Reduce humidity levels fast in basements, utility rooms and shower areas where mildew or mold can grow
- Roll it in place for drying out leaks or floods – then team it with air movers to dry out areas up to 12,000 cu. ft.
- Remove moisture and automatically pump it into a floor drain or outside through a basement window
Dri-Eaz 1200 dehumidifier removes excess moisture quickly
Keep damp basements dry
Moisture can’t easily escape from basement living and work spaces. When humidity builds up beyond 50%, it can cause musty odors, mildew and even mold growth. Run the drain hose from the 1200 dehumidifier into a nearby floor drain or out a basement window.
Dry fast after leaks and floods
Drying areas quickly after leaks, spills or floods prevents damage to floors, cabinets and walls. Pros use the 1200 dehumidifier with Dri-Eaz airmovers to evaporate and remove moisture much more efficiently than consumer models of airmovers and dehumidifiers.
Prevent moisture-related issues
Reducing humidity quickly can help prevent mildew and mold growth in damp climates. Use the 1200 to resolve problems quickly before excess moistures causes occupant concerns or even secondary damage to materials.
The Dri-Eaz DrizAir 1200 is a refrigerant dehumidifier that can remove up to 145 pints of water per day at saturation and 64 pints per day under the Association of Home Appliance Manufacturers (AHAM) test conditions of 80 degrees F and 60% relative humidity (RH). This dehumidifier has an operating temperature range of 33 – 100 degrees F, draws 6.4 amps on a 115V power supply, and processes air at a rate of up to 227 cubic feet per minute (CFM). Display panel languages include Spanish, German, French, and English. The pump basin is attached to a 40' hose for removal of condensate across wide spaces.
This dehumidifier has a 25' power cord for access to a power supply across large spaces. The unit has a built-in duct attachment ring for use with Dri-Eaz layflat polyvinyl ducting (sold separately) to facilitate control of air circulation and drying efficiency. Its rotomolded polyethylene housing provides consistent wall thicknesses and strong outside corners for resistance to damage and leaks. Up to two DrizAir 1200 models can be stacked for efficient use of storage space. This dehumidifier has a rigid, telescoping handle and semi-pneumatic wheels to facilitate transport. It uses a 3M HAF Filter (included) to protect internal components from dirt (replacement filters sold separately). Intertek Testing Services, a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) using Edison Testing Laboratory (ETL) safety standards, has certified this product to Underwriters Laboratories (UL) standard for safety for dehumidifiers UL 474, and to Canadian Standards Association (CSA) 22.2 no. 92 standard for dehumidifiers. It also is verified by the AHAM for water removal capacity and energy factor.
Dehumidifiers remove moisture from the air. They are commonly used for drying applications in the cleaning, building maintenance, and restoration industries, and to control the humidity levels in office or homes. A refrigerant dehumidifier uses the same kind of refrigeration technologies found in air-conditioning systems. It condenses water vapor into water. The water, also called condensate, is pumped automatically out of the DrizAir 1200 into a drain, sink or out a window. It works most effectively in warm, moist conditions.
Dri-Eaz manufactures dehumidifiers, air movers, structural drying systems, and air scrubbers for water damage restoration applications, and for the drying, cleaning, and building maintenance industries. Manufacturing for the company, established in 1980, is based in Burlington, WA.

Two weeks in and the unit works great. Have an antique home with a damp and wet-at-times basement. Cleared up my humidity much better than the $250 LG I had. Built in pump works great. Built like a tank. Simple operation. Got a humidity control for it, specifically the Dayton 1UHG3 Humidifier Control, Plug In, 120 V here on Amazon. It's another 70 bucks but avoids having the unit on all the time being this unit does not have a humidity control, it just stays on all the time. Note that for me, the power plug from the unit didn't fit into the Dayton humidistat. So I got a beefy short extension cord from Home Depot, the Rigid 2 ft contractor grade 12 gauge outlet, and it works great. Have the tube going out a basement window about 10 feet away going up about 7 feet. Not a problem at all. So far I feel the extra money spent is well worth it. The cheaper unit was fantastic, hung in there for a few years, but never gave me the confidence that it would work long term (even though it did) and the bucket/hose combination caused problems. Cheaper units with a hose tend to not work reliability as well from what I hear so I bit the bullet and got this unit. Time will tell if it was worth it but so far it's flawless.
It sits in my drying shed during harvest running 24//7 for weeks on end and not one hiccup.
The pump works the defrost cycle works and it removes about 13-14 gallons in a 24 hour cycle.
if you need it, get it. You won't be sorry.
