I have been looking for a headband to keep
The sweat out of my eyes. This is the perfect band. It also stays and doesn’t move around. It’s windy so I have had to pin it so I don’t have to chase it in case it flies away. I started wearing it under a baseball cap to keep the sweat out of my eyes and face. This absorbes the sweat perfectly and is moisture wicking. I wish it came with more than 1 item. I will need to buy more as I use this band over and over to Train for half and full marathons. Great product, very lights weight, looks great and washes well. The only complaint is I should have bought more.

So I tried this headband for the first time today. I did 30 mins on the elliptical and I usually do 10-15 mins. I’m natural and my hair is frizzed up and sweat be pouring down my face by time I’m done. Not only did the sweat not pour down my face but when I took it off my hair was not frizzy and was still straight. Now I do have MINIMAL waves around the edges. It’s so minimal that I won’t have to take a blow dryer and flat iron to my hair to it lay down for tomorrow’s ponytail. I use hair wax (like to lay weave down) and brush my hair and I’m good to go. I will be buying another one so I can rotate.

It didn’t work! I’ve been flat ironing my natural hair for about 4 months since the weather got cooler and no humidity here in FL. Based on the reviews, I thought this would be perfect. When I work out, my hair is in a high ponytail knot, this band kept sliding up … so I sewed a half inch tuck to make it tighter – it’s still slid upward despite using bobby pins. It was never in place long enough for me to notice IF it even absorbed sweat. So obviously, it is not meant for slick/straight hair - I could see it working very well on your edges if you had braids and the thickness of the braids would prevent it from sliding around

Worst headband I own, it doesn’t stay in place for long before it slips back and eventually comes off.

I heard good things about it and was excited to try it to stop my silk pressed hair from curling during workouts but this headband isn’t reliable. I used it for a Yoga stretching class and a cardio & abs workout, I felt it slipping and it came off 20 minutes into the class.

The ones that work the best for me are from a small business which no longer exists so I’ve bought some from Sweaty Betty. Hopefully they will do a better job.
