It was a breeze to put together. All you have to do is snap in the legs and the back into their slots. Raising and lowering the chair is easy as well. You pull the orange pin out, adjust the leg to the right position and stick it back in. Super Simple.
I'm 5-11 and about 175lbs. I sat on it outside (and inside) of the shower and wiggled around to test its stability. I'm not going to let my Mother use anything that might make her uncomfortable or have her feeling nervous about its integrity. I already worry about her enough without worrying about a product that might be faulty. I feel confident that I made the right choice. It may not be the best that is out there but I think it will suit her just fine. She has used it and reports no problems. The handheld shower cutouts are a nice touch too.
I'm thrilled I found one that fits our dinky tub!
I bought in the basis of other reviews, and was not disappointed.
It's my opinion that where the legs snap into the bottom of the seat is a poor design unless you don't have to shift your legs over to one side to stand up. The connection piece just isn't deep enough or strong enough for that kind of movement. I am returning the chair.

Wasn't sure about this when it arrived in what seemed like a relatively small box. Was easy to assemble with NO tools. Read morePublished on January 1, 2014 by Fog City Frank
Incredibly sturdy and a cinch to assemble. But it really is just too large for the average tub or shower. The seat could be one-third smaller and still be comfortable. Read morePublished on December 17, 2013 by Roberta A. Doocey

The most space-saving design in a stable bath chair I have found, and this is a decent price for it. Goes together in a snap, easy as a Playskool children's toy. Read morePublished on November 23, 2013 by COD shopper
