From the Back Cover
In the lethally enticing world of the Others, New York Times bestselling author Christine Warren conjures up sorcery, seduction―and all the games otherworldly lovers play…
Tess Menzies can work a spell with a few blinks of her baby blue eyes. But this dedicated witch can't summon up a single good reason she's been made an envoy between her kind and Manhattan's fiercest were-creatures. The two sides haven't spoken in four hundred years, and she'll need every miracle in the book to broker any kind of truce. And that means outwitting Council of Others leader Rafael De Santos whose tantalizing moves and fierce hungry kisses are magic even a formidable sorceress can't resist . . .
DRIVE ME WILD
It doesn't take a cat's supernatural senses for Rafael to suspect that there's something strange about this unexpected peace offering. And finding the truth is just as tempting as uncovering the secrets Tess is trying to conceal. Why, she's tantalizing enough to make this wandering were-jaguar think he's found the perfect mate―one he's only dreamed of. But his stealth and her spells can't guarantee they have a chance at survival, much less a future together…
"Warren is a master of paranormal romance."―Night Owl Romance
Top Customer Reviews
This book has plenty of sex scenes, nothing wrong in that.
I was disappointed in the character of Tess in that she is not a strong female. As a witch I was expecting her to have power and she doesn't and she basically is a submissive. She has glimpses of the future but only occasionally. She might have demonstrated a 'temper' but she was never able to actually say 'no' and mean it.
Tess's Granddad walked all over her. It would have been really nice if Tess had stood up to her Granddad and she had two occasions in which to do that but she didn't.
I wish Tess would have made it at least a little bit difficult for Rafe to have sex with her. Instead she just gives in the very first time. From how the book was advertised I honestly thought that Rafe would be chasing Tess all over town and trying very hard to get her to date him much less have sex with him. Tess was just too easy.
Rafe never marks her as his (rather disappointed in that) and as far as I can tell he never asked her to be his mate or even claim her as his mate and they never actually get married.
I've you've already read the Rafe romance then you should save your money and time and skip over the newest installment in Warren's Others series. Very little is added to enrich the story and it just isn't worth paying for.
This is a surprising tale with a lot of twists, shape shifting, spell casting, and erotica.
Very well worth the money, and the audio interpretation by Kate Reading is superb!
