Whilst Raelya is teaching Dakota to drive in an empty parking lot they stumble upon a decades old secret that threatens to break the bonds of the pack. A horrible crime that has gone unpunished for too long. It is up to Dakota to work out the mystery and seek justice for the crime that impacts the whole pack.
Shei Darksbane has done a great job with this novel. Being the second of the series the reader can really see how the author has matured since writing "Awakened".
Ms Darksbane has recapped in this novel enough that if you pick the second book up a couple of months after reading the first that you will remember what is happening in the story. I like the characters that Shei has built up for us, as a reader I felt that I was really starting to connect with them and that I was transported into the pages to become a part of the story. It is always an indication of a good author when you loose yourself in the story and you no longer feel like you are reading a book but rather you are living and breathing a book, Ms Darksbane has achieved this in "Driven". I didn't want to put it down as I wanted to know where the story would go next. So once again, well done Ms Darksbane, a very well written novel worth the 5 stars. I look forward to seeing where this story goes next.
