Feel the road with incredible detail when at the wheel of the Driving Force Pro! This ultra-realistic steering wheel uses force feedback technology to produce the most authentic driving experience. Easy-grip rubber wheel turns 900° or a full 2.5 times just like a real car. For non-900° mode games, wheel automatically shifts to standard 200° mode. An exclusive carpet grip system keeps gas and brake foot pedals firmly in place. Other features include advanced rack and pinion steering, sequential stick shifter and optical sensing for steering control. Compatible with PlayStation 2. Comes with steering wheel, gas and brake pedals, power supply and user manual. Imported.
From the Manufacturer
Step up to the Logitech Driving Force Pro and experience more realism, more intensity, and more fun than ever before on your PlayStation 2 computer entertainment system. With 900 degrees of wheel rotation and a rack and pinion steering system, the Driving Force Pro duplicates the true-to-life steering dynamics of race cars. The rubber wheel, sequential stick shifter, and responsive gas and brake pedals all combine for an incredible level of performance. Add in today's best force feedback technology and you have the most advanced, most authentic driving experience in gaming.
The Driving Force Pro Wheel automatically switches to 200 Degree Steering compatibility mode to work with other racing games.
Full rubber wheel with 900 degrees of rotation

Force feedback technology
Feel the road, bumps, gravel, walls, and other effects in games. Logitech's latest force feedback technology delivers greater realism compared to previous force feedback products.
Solid construction with precision engineering
Steel bearings support the main shaft to provide smooth, accurate steering with minimal lateral movement. And an optical sensing system encodes all steering movement with digital precision.
Two wheel-mounted paddles and sequential stick shifter
Shift gears up or down conveniently with easy-to-access shifters. Or use the paddles as L1 and R1 buttons and the shifter as L3 and R3 buttons.
All the control you need
The 8-way D-Pad and four PlayStation action buttons (circle, square, X, triangle) give you convenient control of menu selections, view changes, car control functions, and other standard directional pad controls in driving games. Four secondary action buttons (L2, L3, R2, R3) act as L2, L3, R2, and R3 buttons of standard PlayStation 2 controller to be used for a variety of car control functions such as horn, lights, and wipers. Select and start buttons are also conveniently located on the wheel front.
Dual clamping system
For optimum control, you need the wheel tightly locked down on your desk or table. The dual clamping system keeps the wheel base secure, but it's also easy to tighten and loosen for quick installation and removal.
Gas and brake pedals mounted on textured no-slip floorboard
The pedals add to the realism and precision of your driving experience. And the exclusive carpet grip system features special teeth to prevent the base from sliding around. The system retracts for use on hardwood or other smooth floors.
Easy installation and setup
The USB port connection makes for easy plug-and-play operation. And status indicator lights tell you when wheel is powered up and calibrated, and also when the wheel is in 200 or 900 Degree Steering mode.

On the whole, I like the pedal setup just fine; it stays put, is easy enough to use, and having the ability to apply half or three-quarters throttle, rather than having to tap the controller button on-off-on-off to simulate that works very nicely. I have to downcheck the unit one star for the lack of reliability in the pedals, though. Mine failed after three days: the gas would cut off for no apparent reason, and the brakes would apply themselves randomly. Not a good trait when driving at a virtual 180 mph. :-) Amazon promptly replaced the unit, and so far, no problems with the new one, but a search on the internet reveals that many people have experienced similar problems, and applied various kludges to fix them.
Touch and control with the wheel is spectacular in the 900 degree mode (supported on the PS3 in GT5 HD Concept, and presumably in the full game when it ships). Less stellar in 200 degree mode (supported, for example, by Ridge Racer 7), but still quite usable. The force feedback and rumble work well. This would be a five-star product but for the questionable quality-control or design issue with the pedals.
I am very impressed, the wheel has rubber on it for a great grip and when playing Gran Turismo and I'm going 150 in my Lotus Carlon 90' and I hit my wheel against the side, the steering wheel has amazing force feedback.
A+ for Logitech.
I had also used this product with the PC for DiRT 3 and we had to do some modifications as DiRT 3 isn't 900 degree compatible because it's designed for PS3 but it works for PC.
We had to change steering sensitivity to a certain ratio for it to work, I wasn't expecting much as it is designed for PS3 though!!!
The only thing that I thing should have been done is to place a colour band around the top of the steering wheel. This allows you to check that your wheel is centre when wrapping with the 900 degrees turning during a rally. I sometimes get lost and have to look down to see which way it is pointing.
VERY VERY GOOD!!
