This is not a book that will feed you interpretations. It seems more oriented to those interested in the Ogham’ s use in magic. It’s still a helpful book, but I wouldn’t recommend it to beginning diviner’s looking for rich discussions. It is simultaneously brief and thorough, covering material others don’t.
While Ellison doesn’t write much on each tree, unlike many texts out there, he does provide the keenings and attributes from the various ogham in the “Scholars Primer.” In addition, he has reprinted several pages of the primer that may be interesting to folks using the staves in magic. Likewise, Ellison reprints three interpretations of the “Battle of the Trees” so that readers can build their own relationship to the material. I find this a valuable text, but one I only consult occasionally. It is interesting, but if you are looking for in-depth discussion on each few, this is not the text for you.
