In summary, I gave it 3 stars only because it does a good job on cold day with only a few inches of snow on the ground. Any more than that you got snow build up between bootie and ski boot which defeat its purpose of keeping your feet warm.
Dryguy as a company has good customer service. After making my order with regular ground shipping, i found out last minute that I need it sooner. I email them, got a response back that the order was already made but they will do their best to get out to me but no promise. It did arrive within 3 days for me to bring it on a last minute trip. Kudo to the rep and Dryguy for coming thru.
This time I'm trying the thermal tape, too.
I experimented with the parts as separates and as a whole. I was super-persnickety installing the Aluminum and the fit is just fine.
Bottom line I really couldn't tell any difference in any configuration.
My Brother-In-Law is certainly no liar. But as for me. Nope.
