Winter weather brings all manner of nastiness and the snow, rain, mud and outright grime can damage the floors in your garage and your home. You can gain protection from winter's worst with this Drymate garage floor mat. It features a non-woven fabric with a waterproof bonded backing, absorbing the drips from vehicles or boots. The slip-resistant backing keeps the mats in place and the mats clean with soap and water. Put it in your garage where you park your car or ATV, or use it indoors in a basement, rec room or mud room. 20ft. x 7ft. mat can be cut to fit. U.S.A. Please note this is not a heavy duty PVC or rubber mat this is a lightweight, oil absorbent, water absorbent pad for your garage.

I don't have a problem vacuuming the mat as long as you raise the vacuum so the roller brush is higher and you keep weight on the mat with your feet around where you are vacuuming. The edges are the only hard part to vacuum as they have a tendency to get sucked into the roller more easily. The felt doesn't appear to be lifting off the mat but maybe after many many vacuums it may thin out, time will tell.
I like the heavy rubber bottom that goes against the garage floor, and the carpeted top that feels good if you are barefoot, as it keeps it in place. I also prefer the darker color of the carpeted top as when the inevitable oil or other fluid drip hits the surface, it's not very noticeable and avoids the stain being the focal point of your garage floor or underneath your car. It also does a good job of absorbing the rain water that will drip from your car when you bring it in all wet.
If you're looking for good value for you r money vs. the higher-priced mats here on Amazon, I would recommend this one.
But for this winter it will work for the price!
Not edged, but for other reviews, I weighted the corners as I drove on the new mat with NO wrinkles...
Glad I only bought ONE, until I find a permanent solution for my Garage (aka, Batcave)
The question we have and the concern is that it has been showing fur balls after you walk on them or sweep them. The (mate) top material lifts off like small treads
We like them it installed as you said but we think this will get worst when they get wet and then become a real problem.
We called the manufacture and explain that they received a some defective material and to return them.
