Running in cold weather isn't always fun. Runners have learned that wearing several layers of clothing offers the best protection. But getting dressed in layers of warm clothing inside a warm house often causes one to perspire. Starting a cold weather run with damp clothing means that the runner will get cold – quickly. In cold or freezing temperatures, moisture is the skin's worst enemy. Moisture pulls heat away from the skin 23 times faster than air and can reduce skin temperature so rapidly that wet feet feel painfully cold. Wet skin makes the feet much more susceptible not only to frostbite, but also to blisters. The Drymax Cold Weather Running Socks have a special Dual Layer Moisture Removal System. This system instantly moves moisture from the skin, through the inner Drymax layer to the outer absorbent layer, keeping feet dry. Staying dry is critical to remaining warm and comfortable in cold weather.

I used them throughout this winter and have ran in temperatures as low as 14 degrees with 0 degree wind chill. My feet stayed warm during the 3 mile run. After wearing them through the winter season, I cannot see any flaws. Socks are still holding up well.
Obviously the warmth you will get from the various temps is based off the time you are running, water/snow, and your own ability to handle lower temperatures. They are definitely warmer than my normal running socks. The socks have about 3 layers of material.
All in all, if you run in the cold, get a pair.
Compared to comparable offerings from Pearl Izumi and SUGOi, I think these are the best for warmth and weather resistance.
