DuPont Tyvek Series 122S Coveralls have a zipper front closure, skid resistant boots and attached hood. Elastic around hood & wrists with set sleeve pattern for greater arm movement and surged seams. Introducing Tyvek with the new comfort fit design. Professionals told us what they want in a protective garment. And they all agree, garments should fit better and not limit job performance. That's why DuPont developed its Tyvek garment with the new comfort fit design. Tyvek garments provide the best balance of protection, durability and comfort and the new comfort fit design provides added benefits such as greater range of movement, improved mobility with more room in the back and reinforcement in high stress areas for fewer blowouts. Tyvek is the industry standard for inexpensive, particulate resistant, disposable clothing. Made from durable spun bonded olefin to resist most hazardous dusts and provide light splash protection. Will remain effective wet or dry. Excellent for spray painting, sand blasting, asbestos removal or anywhere there is dust or dirt.

From the manufacturer
DuPont TY122S Tyvek Chemical-Resistant Coverall
Elastic Cuff, Elastic Ankle, Attached Hood, Attached Boots.
Tyvek 400 garments are composed of flash spun high density polyethylene which creates a unique, nonwoven material available only from DuPont. Tyvek 400 provides an ideal balance of protection, durability and comfort of any limited use fabric technology.
Tyvek 400 fabric offers an inherent barrier against particles (down to 1.0 micron in size). Protection is built into the fabric itself; there are no films or laminates to abrade or wear away. Tyvek 400 fabric's durability advantage over microporous film fabrics delivers consistently better barrier, even after wear and abrasion.
Comfort fit design based on extensive wearer input to provide our most comfortable garment design that: enables a greater range of movement while stretching and bending, provides a more tailored fit, offers reinforcement in high stress areas for fewer blowouts, utilizes a longer zipper for easier donning and doffing and an elastic waist to better position the garment.
Longer zipper extends to chin for complete coverage of neck area with an elastic opening for tighter fit at wrist.
Attached Tyvek FC boots have special coating to provide added skid-resistance.
Attached respirator-fit hood with elastic around face opening, designed to cover neck and chin and fit around respirator face mask.
Applications include: lead and asbestos abatement/remediation, general maintenance/operations, spray painting, general clean-up.

I ordered an extra large and the packaging was marked an extra large but when my husband went to use them the overalls were actually a medium. I contacted the company and they responded immediately offering to either replace or refund the product. I was pleased with how quickly they responded to offer a resolution for the problem. The coveralls were made of sturdy material for a disposable product. If they had been the correct size they would have been perfect for the job my husband was doing. We will order this product again.
I used them when I was touching up the house with paint. It kept the paint off of my clothes.
Also, I used them for yard work when I had to go into shrubs, bushes, and trees to weed and cleanup. This suit generally keeps the bugs from getting inside of my clothes. And, all of the cling on seeds and outdoor artifacts are left behind when I take off the suit. I just brush the suit and it is ready to be packed away. One of the best features is that it helps keep me cooler when I am in the sun. When I wear this suit, I don’t have to put on a sun screen (except for on my face.)
I can see other uses for this suit. I will use it the next time I work on my car. I can see that this suit will help keep me clean and minimize scratches that I might put on the car accidently with metal parts of my clothing (e.g., belt, zipper, etc.). I don’t expect it to last beyond a few more uses, which is really good for a disposable suit.
The one con that I see is that my son will not wear it, even though he may be baking in the sun. He says he doesn’t want to look like Walter White (of the series Breaking Bad). LOL
This will not protect you from ebola of course, for that you'd probably want Dupont Large Yellow Tychem Qc Chemical Protection Coveralls and a lot of training.
I had to buy this because last time I was in my attic the insulation made my skin itch even after showering. With gloves, a respirator, and eye protection I was pretty well sealed up. It did get a little warm wearing all this in 60 degree temps but not real uncomfortable.
But HOT!! It *was* in the middle of summer so that's to be expected. I just advise you to expect virtually NO ventilation when you wear this suit.
And it's a little snug in general - esp. on my head with the hood (I'm 6'1" and wore the XL). I'll definitely get the XXL next time (if I get one with a hood and booties)since there isn't really much concern about getting loose fabric caught in anything I work with during construction jobs.
I wanted a large for myself, but they were out and I took a chance on a medium. The height part was perfect, I'm 5' 4". But at 175 lbs, (most of it in my butt and thighs :( ) I ripped out the crotch just a little.
Had I ordered a large, I would have been more comfortable. But I would have robbed my husband and our home inspector of the joy of making fun of me!
We were only crawling around on dirt and sand, nothing too abrasive. These suits are made of material similar to the Tyvek express mail envelopes. Thin and lightweight, tear resistant, but not meant for long term use. We will probably get two or three more uses out of them, then get new ones. They sure beat ruining clothes and getting dirt down your pants and cobwebs in your hair!
