DuPont Non-Stick Dry-Film Lubricant with Teflon Fluoropolymer
Reduces Friction - Repels Grit
This unique dry-film lubricant leaves a long-lasting, micro-thin, DuPont Teflon fluoropolymer coating that repels dirt, resists corrosion, and reduces friction and squeaks. Non-Stick Dry-Film goes on wet to penetrate, then sets up with a clean, dry, white micro-thin coating film that bonds to most surfaces and lubricates parts to reduce sticking and squeaking. Its thin coating is excellent for tight tolerances and sliding tracks and helps materials resist chemical contaminants or water.
Use on surfaces requiring a dry, non-oily, non-staining and silicone-free film. Perfect for tight-tolerance applications where a microfilm lubricant is needed including: woodworking and trade tools; chains, gears, cables, bearings, valves, shafts, tracks and slides; hinges, locks, fasteners, sliding surfaces, sealers, blades and bulb threads; electrical switches and connectors; mowers, garden equipment, snowblowers, gaskets, seals, rollers, plastic gears, sleeves, ropes, drive belts and bushings; outdoor power equipment, fishing, cycling, sailing and marine; cutting blades, drill bits, saws; gaskets, seals, rollers, plastic gears, sleeves, drive belts and bushings.

Oh! Because it took me FOREVER to find this: it's supposed to spray on solid/dry. If you had no idea about that and sprayed way too much on to the point it started dripping (like me), don't worry, it will dry in under an hour, even with high humidity.
It's actually micro-fine teflon particles in suspension in a fast-evaporating liquid carrier. The carrier takes it into all the cracks and crevices, then evaporates leaving a teflon film. See my attached wet and dry pictures.
I've noticed that metal surfaces I've treated with it don't rust.
I love that it comes in a clear bottle so you can see when the settled teflon is back in suspension after shaking.
i have to test it on windows next, get them not to stick. used them on scissors to make it more slippery. its like graphite, but it doesn't make everything black.
I used this Teflon spray to repair the non stick surface of a heater head on a automated 96 well plate sealer. The sealer had malfunctioned and melted a plate and left a residue of molten plastic on the heater. My co-worker used a piece of metal to scrape the molten plastic off and took the non stick coating off as well. The company quoted us at well over $1,000 to replace the heater head. I decided to attempt a repair of the surface using this spray instead.
This can saved me over $1,000 and seems to do the job just as well as the non-stick coating the machine came with.
