We had a problem off the bat with our Sunbeam, 10 level pad, replaced it and the replacement failed so we tried this one. Our first one had a bad control, so we replaced it and haven't had a problem since. Now for the actual review, the 5 levels are fine, the preheat function is really nice but even the lowest setting is too hot to leave on all night so we preheat the bead then turn them off. It would be nice if the lowest setting could be about half of what it actually is.
All that being said I think it is time to bring back manufacturing from China and quit giving our money to our #1 enemy outside the US borders plus their quality control is terrible as evidenced by my notes above. I would pay more for American made that I didn't have to replace 3 times.
