I still have a 4 channel amp from the day but it doesnt have a crossover built and i cant seem to locate the coustic xm5 crossover i had. I recently bought a new kenwood head unit and 4 sony xplod 6.5 inch speakers for the doors of my Blazer. yet something was missing still - I fired this amp up didnt get any sound from my tubes - then i actually read the instructions :\ and turned on the low pass filter and set the frequency where i liked it - This amp makes my tubes hit so hard i have to turn it almost all the way down on the gain to mix properly - To say the least i was thoroughly impressed with the 55 dollar results - say cha ching with me :) I hear people talk about these small amps not putting out enough power to their subs - i just dont get that - My wife came outside to see what the racket was and it was me setting the bass levels. Ive heard big money systems not put out this low bass ...really
400 watts RMS into 2 Ohms. 240 Watts RMS into 4 Ohms.
My son wanted to drive 2x 12" Sub woofers in his vehicle.
Not many mid-priced Amps will drive 2 Ohms cleanly at full power
and survive. This Dual XPE1700 does a great job.
In use about 5 months now and no problems at all.
It has left and right channel inputs and combines them to the
single Sub-woofer output. Draw is near 40 amps under full output.
Has low pass filter and adjustable gain on the end panel.
Very happy with this Dual Amp. Highly recommend it.
Had to upgrade the car battery to handle the load.
This baby does the trick and sounds slightly better than the old one.
Dual has always been a maker of quality products for me.
Would definitely recommend to a friend. Especially at the price.
We are running both the Dual XPE2700, and (2), Dual 12" SD12 SUBS in a tunned 1.5 thick sealed sub box. If you can find a pair of the 12"SD12 Subs to pair up with this XPE2700 you will be matched with one of the best sounding systems arround!
We use a 7" Android Head Unit in dash, to get additional preamp programing with added software, like "JETAUDIO" (at: google app store) "SEE PICS BELOW" that gives us some very serious Pounding from the SD12 SUBS with outstanding crossover from theXPE2700 switching. It runs cool and the power light on the XPE2700 is not a destraction while driving.
The features this amp has for the price has out performed all of the other 11 systems that our crews use in thier personal rigs.
This system is thumping in a Nissan Xterra Rock Climber.
Get a pair of 500amp Dual SD12 Subs to pair with this amp if you can still find them!
Follow-Up: We purchased N7 Pro on Google and WOW what a difference the app has made with this
Amp. Still running strong after the 1st month.

Not a bad sub, probably should've went for a higher powered one. I'm using it to power an Alpine e-10 with a sealed enclosure which is rated at 250w @4 ohms. Read morePublished 11 days ago by Real Talk
