These are by far the smallest "medium" roaches I have ever purchased. Not a single one is even close to the 3/4 inch size.

Using a crumpled piece of paper doe them to crawl on was also not user friendly instead of the standard egg carton. A lot ended up being squished.
Will certainly not buy from this seller again. Not worth it

I purchased the “medium” roaches for my ~4 month old bearded dragon. They were all a good size ... the size range the add stated they would be, and of course my beardie loves the roaches!
My only issue that brought it down one star was that they were packaged in a cloth bag with a wadded up piece of butcher type paper inside the bag. I didn’t feel the bag was the best way to store them as once the zip tie was cut it seemed that a cloth tie may not keep them as securely inside the bag as I would like. Plus trying to get them out of the bag at feeding time seemed a bit problematic as they tended to stay deep inside the butcher paper. Getting them out of the bag and out of the butcher paper into a plastic container though was a bit of a nightmare that I’m not looking forward to experiencing again the next time I need more roaches. Notice to seller - PLEASE try a different shipping method!

I was very disappointed by the way they were packaged. They came with two cups of 100 Dubai’s, but they were packaged with them huddled together. Being huddled together without anything to keep them from walking over each other is a major red flag. In the time it took to pack them all the way until they reach their destination they become very aggravated and hungry. That leads to cannibalism. You can’t keep them smashed together like that it’s common sense. I open the containers and they smell awful. There was nothing but guts all around the container. It was very brownish red, and just completely disgusting. I dump them in a separate container and see a massive amount of dead ones. I’ll admit there were a few of them that seemed to die naturally. But about 20-30 of them had obviously been chewed up. From that point until now I have dead and eaten roaches everyday. I know it’s every day because I’ve been removing all the dead ones but they keep popping up. It’s obvious they’ve become canibalistic. The photo above is me checking it again while I make this review. I had high hopes because of the high rating given, now I have to rethink that.

I’ve been buying dubia for our dragon for 3 years; I have never had such a bad experience from a seller, (DBD pets)! First, they took 3-4 days longer to arrive then stated. Next, I open the bag & the smell hits me. Many are clearly dead. But the worst yet to come. No egg cartons - there was a huge bundle of brown paper in the bag. The bugs were impossible to remove!! Every wrinkle in the paper bugs were hiding. And they were tiny! So small my finger tips wouldn’t grasp then. Lots of babies too - I expected medium bugs! Even my dragon refused to eat them - she ignored the tiny ones. And those that weren’t dead were unhealthy - oh the stench - and within 3-4 days the rest of the batch died!!! A complete waste of $$. Never again use this seller

I have been buying from these guys for almost a year now and almost every order has a very high survival rate but the last batch I purchased the heat pack seemed to have cooked almost half of them to death(not slow from being cold but nasty smelling dead). I contacted the seller and let them know and they contacted me within 24 hours and said they would be happy to replace the entire order for free. It arrived within 3 days and every single but was alive and very heathly, amazing customer service! The replacement batch was the best batch of dubias I've ever gotten, i was very happy and so was my lizards. I will continue to order through them.

We have 2 Chinese Water Dragons that think these roaches are swell, much preferable to crickets which wound up floating and fouling the pool. They arrive in a loose weave muslin bag with egg crate and food; they will survive there with minimal loss for 3+ weeks. By that time the lizards have polished them off. Put them in a straight-sided dish for feeding because they will burrow into bedding in a nanosecond. One caution: the "will arrive" time window is unreliable. Once they are shipped, watch for them daily. I have had three shipments and all were delivered early. Update 9/2019: It's been a long hot summer in the American Southwest. The Dubia vendor I have settled on (AAFeeder) has gone above and beyond to assure that the animals are held at the PO for pick up in this 105 degree plus weather. I have nothing but great things to say about how the vendor assures the quality of their product.

Not only were they on time and saved at the post office to protect against the cold - they included 6 tomato hornworms. I thought this was particularly nice because I debated buying them so soon for my 6 month old bearded dragon. He's a big boy and crunches through roaches like they were nothing. Oh and he LOVED the tomato worms. He chewed down one and looked for another lol. He's eating me out of house and home lol The roaches were alive and kicking and he enjoyed those as well. Would definitely buy again....

Very disappointed. Pictures show dubias to be larger than a dime. When my girlfriend opened the package, she asked if I ordered ticks. They were that small. Not even half the size of a penny. The description states between 3/8" to 3/4" in size. The LARGEST of these WERE barely 3/8". I'll be looking for someone else to supply my roaches next time. A misleading product description is false advertising and should not be tolerated on Amazon.
