Great story. Insightful. Amusing. Tragic. Hilarious. Depressing. Uplifting. Amusing. (I already said that) All in all, it really ties the kindle store together.

It's a Kindle single; it's a quick read. If you are a Coen brothers fan or a fan of The Big Lebowski, this is a fun read. You get some interesting background information about the filming of the movie and a bit of an insider's look at the work that goes into pre- and post-production of a film.

Only 700 or so kindle pages this niblet was quite an enjoyable read. Who doesn't love this quirky movie? There are enough behind the scenes tales here to justify the meager cost of the book.

A nice, concise look at the casting, creative and editing choices of the Cohen brothers. It's a really quick read and interesting if you enjoy a deeper look into the process of filmmaking.

If you've got an hour to an hour and a half to spare, this is well worth the entertainment at $3. You can tell this guy was an editor, the stories are concise and enjoyable. Highly recommend.

Great first person account of the making of a great movie; not sure it really matters where Alex was on the totem pole, it's a nice quick story which I found fascinating.

This is a great little behind the scenes look at the making of the Big Lebowski. From casting to editing, Belth gives us a taste of what it was like hanging out The Boys.

A short but interesting read for every Lebowski fan. Not much new inside information on the movie but more of a memoir of time spent with "The Boys". The definitive text on this subject is still "I'm a Lebowski, You're a Lebowski".

Enjoyable easy read with some fun and interesting, if not especially in depth, insights into both the Coen brothers working style and film-making in general.

Loved this read. A wonderful revisit of a modern day classic cult film in its very early stages before film was loaded into the camera and before the actors did their first cold reading. It's a piece of history that could never be replicated again. The Cohen brothers may not be as down to earth and humble, the film business is not and may never be like how it's told here, one would be lucky to see a print screened or even hear it cut again as Alex Belth so passionately describes it. The industry has changed and so has the technology and the people in it. It's sad to see one choose to walk away from it as one starts to climb the almost "impossible" ranks but to be able to say you "did it, enjoyed it, and it's time to move on" is also very encouraging.
Alex Belth's telling of how this film came together is a generous gift to those Lebowski's devoted fans. It's also a generous gift to both the Cohen brothers and the cast & crew as time capsule to reminisce on a cult creation from off the page to on to the screen. Celluiod, The Dude, and pasta what more can you ask for?
