Jen takes an honest and straightforward approach to the medical and emotional steps along her path toward her family and discusses why she made certain decisions with regard to treatment options. In Due Time provides an opening for other families to discuss their struggles more openly and realize they are not alone in their feelings of despair while giving friends and families of those struggling some insight into the often overwhelming world of infertility.
I was given an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
In many ways our perspectives are different, but regardless of our personal differences, we are unified in the fact that we both strongly desire motherhood. In our pursuit of parenthood, my husband and I have decided to not pursue in-vitro fertilization (IVF) at this time. However, one reason I loved reading Jen’s story is because she shared the facts and the details of her IVF journey in such detail that I felt like I was experiencing it with her!
I recommend this book if you enjoy infertility memoirs, and I also recommend it to anyone considering IVF, because the author paints a clear picture of her experience.
