I have always been a fan of M. Ward's works. However, it wasn't until very recently that I was able to get my hands on his stellar debut album. It has now become my very favorite album of his. Very mellow, very stripped down, and very beautiful. The album makes you feel as though you are sitting right next to M. Ward as he plays these songs for you. Very worth the buy!
I have become a huge M. Ward fan (what took me so long to find this guy??) and believe that he borders on being a musical genius. So I wanted to go further back into his history and pick up some of his earlier CDs. This CD was the fist hiccup in my M. Ward journey. After a few listens I'm still finding the album kinda boring and uneventful. I've turned many on to M. Ward and if you're looking to spread the word as well, tell your friends about his albums such as Post-War, Transistor Radio, Transfiguration of Vincent, End of Amnesia.
