Great little book about the history of motorhomes. I got it for a gift for my son-in-law who has been in the sales end of motorhomes and he was delighted with the book. He is having fun sharing the knowledge he has gained from the book with fellow salesman and customers.

If you love Rv's and wonder where all the ideas come from, this is a great little book. I loved the personal histories of the people who pioneered and furthered this great industry. It made me really want to visit the museum in Elkhart, Indiana. The pictures alone are worth the price.

I have the paperback version of this book and it contains considerable illustrations, photos, etc. I expected the same for the Kindle digital version, but am very disappointed. The Kindle version has NONE (except for the cover). This book is just not adequate without the photos.

The people that helped shape the RV industry that we know today. The author is the historian of the National RV Museum so he is very qualified to write on the subject. It was a short read but I enjoyed it and learned a few things from it.

A good read if you're into RVing. A lot of history that I didn't know. Worth the money.

interesting history, but no illustrations in the Kindle version
Reviewed in Canada on October 4, 2013Verified Purchase
This is primarily a series of biographical sketches of people in the RV Hall of Fame and in that it is quite interesting, but while it mentions many significant stages of RV development, the Kindle version does not have the illustrations that the hard-copy features - could be copyright reasons or cost reasons.
