Quite the title huh? Okay...so I have not used every pick ever made, but I'll never use another one, so it may as well be true.

The Dunlop Tortex picks last a really long time. The nylon material is awesome for longevity and the textured surface really keeps you from flinging it across the room.

The .88mm thickness is my size of choice, just the right happy-medium to give the sound I like, but definitely feel free to try some different sizes to find the one for you.

A great pick, and the 72 quantity on this makes the unit price super low. You'll love every pick!

Between the blue and the yellow, I have my needs covered. These have a weird feeling when you first get them, like they have powder on them. But within 10 minutes of using it, it'll stick with you much better. I love these picks.

Can't play without them! Perfect thickness, not too thin that rips or slips out of my hand and not so thick that it gets caught on my strings when playing fast. I've been playing for a while, and once you like something, you tend to stay with it. I've stayed with these for years now, if that says anything.

This is a dream. Stop worrying about picks, just get a ton of them and keep them in a drawer. Throw some in your wallet, in your case, in your car, in your bedroom, in your studio. This was a great price for the convenience of pretty much always having access to a pick. Cuz I be pickin.

These are like the standard picks, with good reason. Consistent, they've never broken on me, great feel, easy to pull back or dig in. Very easy to handle.

The standard of the world, as far as I know. What's not to like? Been using them for years and years, must be pretty darn good for something. I find that material and shape are the most versatile among flat picks, Just soft enough to sound good and be grippy and hard enough to hang onto and dig in when needed. The color helps to spot them in my bag or when dropped. For me, these replaced the previous standard, which would be the venerable Fender Medium.

Almost a perfect pic for me. I use a .73mm. Just wish it was more like a fender pic finish...that being fender seems to stick to your fingers better. This pic seems to have a coating that makes is slightly softer to the touch or something. Still prefer this pic to the fender because this one holds up much much better- in comparison to fender mediums.

How Do You Review a Pick? Such a basic guitar-player item... and so much at the mercy of each individual player's particular needs... but I'll give it a try.

The Dunlop Tortex picks are perfectly good guitar picks. Whenever I would play the Strat in my all-around dance band, I would be playing all sorts of stuff, rock, country, jazz, ballads, polkas, whatever... this one, and the yellow one (.73mm) would be my go-to pick; not too flexible, not too stiff. I don't do so much of that anymore, and when I play acoustic, I would use a classical guitar, which I play with the fingers, or a nice heavy jazz pick (Dunlop 207). But recently I started playing steel string acoustic, and doing a lot of strumming, and the yellow and green Tortex picks are again my go-to pick.

I went through the phase of trying strange or unusual shapes, and that other phase of cute or flashy colors... These basic Dunlop Tortex picks are the basic standard guitar pick shape, and the color is pretty much irrelevant, except that it makes it easy to select the thickness you want "at a glance". Also the texture of the material is a bit coarse, not quite as smooth/shiny/slick as the basic Fender tortoise shell pick, so, for me, it seems to be a bit easier to keep a grip on it.

So, once again, this is MY OPINION of a good pick, based on my needs, which I've tried to define. If you're in a similar boat, these will do the job for you. If you like heavier or lighter, the other gauges are equally good quality. Good price, nothing flashy, just your basic no-frills pick that does the job.

I always keep a lot of these on hand. These are the only picks I use when playing my acoustic guitars (strumming style & vocals). Since I play for several hours nearly every day I have a tendency to go through a lot of picks. These definitely last longer for me than other brands (similar weight) that I have used. For example, I can "round-off" the end off a Musician's Gear pick or a Fender pick in about an hour or so of playing and seem to get much more mileage out of these picks. The weight is great for my style of playing. They seem more durable than other brands. They're inexpensive and since I play a lot of hours I always keep lots of these on hand. I love 'em, use them daily, and rely on them !!!
