Dunlop Trigger Curved Black Guitar Capo 83CB. When they made the Dunlop Trigger Curved Guitar Capo they knew your sound shouldn't change when you put on a capo and it shouldn't be a 12-step process either. With the Trigger capo you'll come through loud clear in tune and in less time. The Dunlop capo is made of aircraft-quality aluminum with a strong padded spring-action grip that can be changed quickly with just a squeeze. Works for both 6- and 12-string guitars. The Trigger Curved Capo features a unique pressure pad that conforms to fingerboard and frets for buzz-free fretting.
Top customer reviews
When I received these capos, I noticed right away that they were not the same excellent quality as actual Jim Dunlop capos. The craftsmanship was visibly lower quality and the materials used are a lesser quality than official Jim Dunlop capos. The rubber has a strong odor and there is no brand-name printed anywhere on the product. As a professional musician, I need to purchase reputable brand-name products because I can't afford to have my gear failing during performances. I have no idea about the future performance of these capos because they have no apparent brand, and no measurable reputation. When I contacted the seller, they were not honest with me.
All in all, I advise you buy the Planet Waves NS dual or tri action capo.
Look no further if you're looking for a practical and durable capo.
After playing guitar for a few years, I noticed this interesting little clamp that some guitarist would have on their guitars. I wasn't sure what it was for, so (like most reasonable internet users) I searched a few YouTube videos for how and why to use it. Needless to say, I saw how cool this little device was and how it could really add new sounds to my playing.
You can't get too complicated when it comes to a device that is meant to hold down strings on a fretboard. Surprisingly, I've had experiences with some capo that do just that - they complicate this simple design in hopes of creating something "more useful." This capo does the job simply and does it well. The trigger/spring action is very comfortable on this model. It makes for easy maneuvering, while providing a strong hold on the strings. The rubber padding is durable. I've had two of these for years, and they have never needed replacement (I've only replaced them when I lost them). Just an overall good product.
For the casual to performance level musician who needs a dependable capo for when you want to play a C in G formation, go with the Jim Dunlop 83CB.
