The Original Wah
The CRYBABY has been a standard in the world of music since its introduction in the late 1960's. Its rugged construction and efficient design have graced the foot of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy, David Gilmour, and many other guitar greats.
By rocking your foot back and forth on the pedal, you can change the effect that the CRYBABY has on the tone of your instrument instantaneously. Toe down will give you more treble, heel down will give you more bass. The speed and amount of effect you use depends on your style of playing.
When placing the pedal in one position, you will hear a boost in that particular frequency. This boost can be used to add sustain and create feedback of a desired overtone.
The CRYBABY features a heavy, die-cast construction, for a road-ready wah pedal that'll provide years of reliability.
Hot Potz Potentiometer
The original CRYBABY boasts a 100K ohm Hot Potz potentiometer, built to last and providing you with a quick, abrupt wah sound.
Power the CRYBABY with a 9-volt battery, or grab an optional Dunlop ECB-003 AC Adapter for powering via outlet.
Dunlop provides extra peace of mind by offering a one-year warranty from date of purchase.

I was a little iffy about purchasing this pedal due to it's price range.
Definitely worth it, As soon as I opened the package I could feel how heavy the Dunlop Crybaby pedal was.
Made out of metal and seems to be very durable.
Plugged it in and ran my Ibanez Ts9 with it and I was hooked.
All and all I am satisfied with the purchase.
The crybaby really needs no introduction. The leading wah pedal for decades, these have been used by everyone from Slash (GnR) and Jimi Hendrix to Kirk Hammett (Metallica) and Adam Jones (Tool) to achieve a wide variety of tones. My playing rests comfortably somewhere between Mr. Jones and David Gilmour, favoring expressive lines to flurries of notes and the crybaby helps me achieve just that more easily.
If you're just getting into pedals in your guitar rig this is an excellent place to start. Just remember a 9v battery or a power supply, as neither are included.
With so many wah pedals on the market these days, it certainly wasn’t easy to arrive on a pedal that fit exactly what I was looking for. I used to have one of these, some 15 years ago, and I’d have to say my familiarity with the sound was a huge draw. I love the way it interacts with fuzz pedals and experimenting with chain placement.
I have quite a few pedals and this one wasn’t easy to fit on my board. I power this with a non-isolated supply; no tonal issues, yet a slight addition of noise when using a semi-hollow body electric with HH. Not so much with Fender SS.
The size and heft are certainly qualities with regards to longevity and durability. Feels sturdy as a tank.
Overall, I’m happy with this pedal. It does wah I need a wah to do.

The boy played it for 10 minutes, loved it. Then it stopped working. Checked all the cables, which are brand new Fender cables, checked the power supply with other tech and checked the socket. Everything working fine except the pedal.
Went online to see if I was missing something obvious and I find reviews aplenty that this device has a history of just stopping.
70 quid for a pedal that worked for 10 mins. I may have just been unlucky and got a dud but what can I say, another trip to the post office.
Unlike some of the cheaper pedals the Cry Baby is feels very solid and built to last wit a rugged metal construction and parts to match, should last you a long time and if you get fed up with it there are a mass of after market modifications available to try out.
