You can pull off Hendrix, but it doesn't sound that good.
On the negative side, the pedal is encased in a strong metal mold, but poorly constructed otherwise. As noted by other reviewers, the triangular rubber pad came unglued prior to me even using the pedal. There is also a considerable amount of noise (and not the desired fuzz noise) coming from this pedal, even when I have it "switched" off by the middle button. It does not pass through a clean signal even when it is supposedly off.
Overall, if you want to play around with the 60s/70s Hendrix sound, this is a good pedal to purchase and I am happy I purchased it for myself. If you want to play your guitar quietly in your house and experiment with a fuzz effect, do not buy this pedal as the buzz will overwhelm you unless you are playing fairly loud in a garage or stage setting. Go for a digital effect/copy of the fuzz pedal instead.
