Part of the new dura-beam standard series of airbeds, the essential rest airbed now features an interior made with Intex innovative fiber-tech construction which is comprised of thousands of high-strength polyester fibers that provide enhanced comfort, stability and support. The essential rest queen features a traditional bed height and cozy flocked mattress top so guests will feel right at home, and they will love the better support and firmness that the fiber-tech construction brings. The built-in electric pump plugs right into your standard wall outlet and inflates the bed in about 3-and-a-half minutes so there is no need to rummage through the garage for your old electric pump or fuss with tiring hand or foot pumps. Plus, it is loaded with features like the indented sides that help grip fitted sheets, the outer perimeter frame on both top and bottom that provides additional stability and support, and the dual chamber construction that provides ample vertical stability. This air mattress is raised 20 inch from the floor for convenience, making it easier to get on and off of than some air mattresses.

The plastic simply gave way. It looks like a manufacturing defect: a thin (weak) area in the plastic sheeting.
We did not puncture it.
It makes a nice size queen bed and can be adjusted easily for comfort. I was surprised at the height of the inflated mattress at over 20 inches, and I didn't even have it as firm as it could be. I will use it mostly for an extra bed for guests when needed. It's pretty comfortable but a nice, thick mattress pad or topper would make it even better. It certainly beats sleeping on the floor!
It's been up for less than a week now and hasn't lost much air with minimal use. I will update if I have additional information as more time has passed.
5-23-17- This has been up and slept on intermittently since I originally put it up. I've not added air since the first week. I did put a mattress pad on top of it to make it a bit more comfortable and it's amazing! I've been careful not to bounce or jump onto it (kids) and it's sitting on carpet, but I'm extremely pleased at this point.
11-24-17- I finally deflated this mattress as the hubs was complaining about the space it took up. It took a while to get the air out but wasn't difficult to roll up and put in it's storage bag. If it doesn't store well, I will update when I inflate it again. I would purchase it again if i needed an inflatable mattress.
With its easy inflate/deflate process, it left no room for error. And the carrying bag it comes with came in handy when I loaned it to family to use for their guests during the holidays.
