NEVER BE POWERLESS WITH THE 24-HOUR POWER SYSTEM. The 24-Hour Power System is everything you need to charge (or power) at home or on the go in the palm of your hand.
The Powermat for 2 devices offers a home base to wirelessly charge two Duracell Powermat-enabled devices-your iPhone 4/4S (using the included Wireless Case) as well as our Portable Backup Battery. The Portable Backup Battery provides on-the-go power to double the battery life of any iPhone, iPod, and most micro-USB-enabled smartphone devices.
To use, simply set the Portable Backup Battery and/or enabled device on the Powermat to start charging. The bleep lets you know that your device is connected and charging. When it’s fully charged, take the Portable Backup Battery to power up on the go. Phone sold separately. Also available in black.
PMA is the standard for smart and environmental wireless power backed by AT&T, Starbucks, P&G, Powermat and dozens of global leaders, and deployed at leading venues including in select Delta Air Terminals and Delta Sky Clubs, Westfield Malls, at Madison Square Garden, Barclays Center and in Jay-Z's 40/40 Club.
The Duracell Powermat 24-Hour Power System is an easy-to-use set of three tools. Together, they provide wireless charging for any Duracell Powermat enabled device like your iPhone. This includes on-the-go power from a backup battery so you can charge up anytime, anywhere. At home or out-and-about, you'll never be powerless.
Now that you’re set up, you can enjoy the ease of wireless charging—-just drop and charge your enabled iPhone and Power On The Go Backup Battery on any Powermat. And, if you need power while out and about, just connect your iPhone to your Power On The Go Backup Battery for up to a full charge anytime, anywhere.

Q. Do I need a Duracell Powermat Wireless Case to wirelessly charge my device?
A. Yes, your device needs to communicate with the Powermat so that energy can be transferred wirelessly. You will also be able to take advantage of the Duracell Powermat Wireless Charging Hot Spots at places like Madison Square Garden, where you can simply power up your phone while attending an event. In the future, we expect to see the technology built directly into devices. We are on a similar trajectory to Wi-Fi, which was once an accessory but is now built in and widely available.
Q. What is the technology and how does it work?
A. It is a combination of magnetic induction and proprietary Duracell Powermat technology. When an enabled device (a device with a Duracell Powermat Wireless Case or a Power On The Go Backup Battery) is placed on a Powermat, a “handshake” happens between the charging surface and the device and then energy is transferred wirelessly to the device. It is an intelligent system—it will send power only to devices it has identified and it monitors the power level so that when a device is fully charged, it will stop sending power, which not only avoids energy waste but also overcharging the battery.
Q. I have heard that I need to fully drain my battery before charging, is this true?
A. Batteries have evolved over time and the “memory effect” is not an issue with the lithium-ion or lithium-polymer batteries that are used in smartphones. You do not need to fully drain these batteries before charging.
Q. Which phone models is the Wireless Case available for?
A. We currently offer an iPhone 4/4S case, and a Samsung Galaxy S III case. But the Power On The Go Backup Battery includes both an Apple 30-pin connector and a Micro USB connector, and works for most smartphones. We are currently developing a Wireless Case for the iPhone 5.
Q. Is the wireless case a protective case?
A. Yes, the wireless case offers standard case protection.
Q. Can I take the Power On The Go Backup Battery with me wherever I go?
A. Yes. The Power On The Go Backup Battery is totally portable. Drop into your purse, briefcase, luggage, backpack, glove compartment—it’s up to you. When you need up to a full charge on the go, you’ll be ready.
Q. Can I use my smartphone while the Power On The Go Backup Battery is charging?
A. Yes, your smartphone will be fully functional while the Power On The Go battery is attached and charging.
Q. Where else can I charge?
A. We’re still rolling out partners, but you can find Wireless Charging Hot Spots and Powermat wireless charging mats installed in select Delta Sky Club locations, the 40/40 Club, and Madison Square Garden.
Q. What’s the best way to take advantage of the system?
A. We recommend that you buy a full 24-Hour Power System for your home and a one Device Powermat for your office.
Q. Will the new Duracell Powermat products work with my existing Powermat products?
A. Yes, they will be compatible.
Q. Does Duracell Powermat have a solution for the iPhone 5?
A. Yes, the iPhone 5 wireless case is currently in development and will be ready in 2013.
