Worth it's price to save on batteries

I purchased this because the way my AV setup is I wanted a wireless device so wires weren't showing. The device is easy to setup and charge, the range is no different than the one that comes with the wii. My only complaint is the time and the alarm. Having to go up and turn the device on every wii session is annoying and the options you have is either 1 or 2 hours, after that time an annoying alarm goes off. It almost sounds like a smoke detector alarm and it is LOUD! I give it 3 stars for the annoyance factors of turning it on, instead of it having a stand by, the time restraint of 1 or 2 hours, and of course the alarm.

I had done research into modding a regular wii sensor bar or even a wireless bar to have USB power until I found this. It works great from over 7ft away and the charge lasts a good gaming session with 1 or 2 hour play time auto shut off, with an added alarm warning you when the bar will shut off to make it easy to add more so not to ruin game time. Also I had a spare Ac to USB adapter lying around and use it to just constantly charge the bar so I dont even worry about dead batteries and having to wait to recharge it

Bought this item so I could have a usb powered sensor bar that was also wireless to use on the dolphin emulator to play games in 1080p. The sensor bar works flawlessly on top of my tv from about 8 feet away. I mean sure it kinda sucks that you have to set the timer between 1 or 2 hours everytime, but the feature at least saves you on battery life. Overall it works as advertised, no complaints.

My only complaint with this, like many other people, is the annoying beep. It does what it is supposed to do and does it well. I mostly used this so I could play wii at school on my laptop through an emulator. My teacher's loved it so much they let me keep playing, and they wanted to play, too.

Bought this to use on my iMac with Dolphin. Took me a little tinkering to figure out the Wii Remote, but once I got everything set up, this sensor bar works flawlessly! I don't see a point in ever unplugging the thing so I just keep it plugged into my USB and it sits right below my iMac screen. If you need a wireless sensor bar, get this one. You won't be disappointed.

Product works great but did you know you can take two candles or tea lights and put them where your senser bar used to be and like magic...wii works again! But if your kitty cat likes playing with fire as much as wires, you might still choose this instead.

Try the candle trick. It will blow your kids minds. And that is what the wii is about...right?
