The Styling Librarian-"Every once in a while a special book comes my way and I want to celebrate it... here's one I couldn't resist featuring.
I enjoyed this new celebration of independence. Aggie is a very cute little fairy who just wants to share her enthusiasm and music with others... but since her music is different from others, she's not accepted. Some of the fairies tried to change her which wasn't received well. I love that Aggie knows who she is... and appreciated when she took her time to still be herself and was accepted into a different group. My kiddo loved the Dust Bunny character, a tried and true friend who Aggie can count on. Very special."
Mrs. Mommy Booknerd's Book Reviews-"Some books just capture your heart the minute you hold them in your hands. Looking at Aggie with her missing teeth, freckled face and torn pants on the front cover had me cheering for her before I even opened the book."
Bookworm for Kids-"The most capturing thing about this book is the illustrations. They are simply a delight to gaze through and be swept away into a fairy world. Even the littlest will have no problem falling into the story, and I'm sure they'll soon choose a favorite fairy of their own."
Diapers and Daydreams-"Dust Fairy Tales: Absolutely Aggie explores, in a lighthearted way, the concepts of fitting in, feeling comfortable in your own skin, about being joyful for all the things that separate you from the rest of the pack, and of course being accepted and finding those who will appreciate you for who you are! The verses are rhyming and fast and the illustrations by Kevin Richter are mystical in an old-school way, which sets it apart from so many other books these days."
Book Chat-"Dust Fairy Tales: Absolutely Aggie is the second book in the series. This lovely story is my favorite of the two because it teaches children that individuality is okay. You don't have to be just like everyone else to fit in. Once again, Kevin Richter has illustrated this book with the same charming little fairies as he did with The Legend of the Dust Bunnies: a fairy's tale. These charming books would make the perfect gift for either a young boy or girl."
The Kindle Book Review-"Vibrant Illustrations and Uplifting Morality Tale"
Readers' Favorite Book Review-"She's absolutely Aggie, just how she's meant to be, is a great line and shows us that there is always a place for us to fit in; we just have to find it. Michelle R. Eastman has created a wonderful book with Dust Fairy Tales: Absolutely Aggie. The pictures really help tell the story, and Aggie is a great character for kids who don't quite fit in."
