I have had thus pot for a few months now. Everything was going good, then I was making some stir fry and everything stuck Despite the oil and the fact that I’ve been using this pan for a while. I consider myself a good cook and I’ve never had this problem before I was only using medium high heat. When I took the pan off the burner the bottom part stayed on the burner and detached from the pan completely. I’m very sad. I thought I loved this pan and now it’s garbage. This might just be a defective in the pan that I bought I am not sure.

After 47 years of cooking for a family, I needed new pans. I chose pans that fit what I cook and my style of cooking. This pan is shallow enough to do a good job reducing, heavy enough to protect from scorching. Has a clear lid so you can see what's cooking. Large enough handles to protect your hands and allow for using oven mitts.
It is great for soups, jams, pudding, stews and other large quantities.

I got a new induction cooktop and was sad to have to get new lots and pans. I had a 5qt pot shaped just like this one and it was my absolute favorite. I was so happy to have found this induction compatible pot in the shape I loved. The only problem was it made so much noise on my cooktop. The multi layered bottom caused it to shake more than a solid pot. If you don't have induction this pot would be awesome. I returned it.

I purchased this stockpot for cooking soups. It is the perfect size!! It cleans up well but I am asking the community of those who own this item if they experience a cloudy appearance on bottom of pot after each clean up. It is a dull "cloud" only in inside bottom. I have taken to cleaning with lemon juice to restore the beautiful luster. Very strange. Anyone to explain or advise better method to avoid this ?
