The only problem I had was that I opened it the night before to charge and to use the following day for a weekend with some co workers. Four games in and suddenly it shuts off on me. I was not able to turn it on again. I ended up having to use the rental gun for the rest of the day. The next day I called dye precisions and they told me to update the gun. After the update was complete, the interface of the gun was a bit glitchy. I ended up resetting the gun back to factory setting and it was working again. I never excepted to have a problem with a brand new gun and hope it doesn't shuts off on me again in game.
The Dye Precision customer service are really friendly and were a big help in assisting me with my problem with the M2. Don't be shy to ask them any questions. The person that helped me out when you call is Glen Sanchez.
But overall I love the gun and everyone complimented the gun. The "FIRE POWER" attracts a lot of attention.
The issue was the LPR. I adjusted it counter-clockwise a bit and now everything works excellent. Also after the adjustment I changed my dwell from the 18 I raised it to back to the stock 15. Gun is on stock setting minus the ROF I raised that to 14. Let me just say this marker works amazing like I said in my previous review. All it needed was a small adjustment. Thank you for the Techs help @ CCpaintball.
Lets start off by saying this marker is beautiful. CCpaintball did a good job at packaging the marker. It took about 6 business days to get from the west cost to the east coast where I am located.
I will do this review in two sections Pros and Cons and explain why I am giving this marker 1 star.
*This marker is well balanced, lights, accurate and gets the job done well and the battery is top notch. The bolt comes out with easy unlike the DM15. Great LED screen, I could see it perfectly outside in the sun, no issues.
*It's attractive and the case it comes with is the best case on the market (My opinion).
From my knowledge new means new, never been used. As soon as i booted up the marker it showed 36 balls have been passed through it. I don't know if it was dry fired or balls were actually passed through the marker, either way it was not "new" when I received it.
Consistency issues. This is my main reason why I am rating this marker a 1 star. Back story:
I purchased this marker January 30, 2016 through amazon coming from ccpaintball for 1499.95$. Local field is only open on the weekends. So I went to the field and played today Sunday February 14. Since I received it on the 8th Monday. 4-5 games in i started to noticed horrible consistency issues, about 600 shots in. I would shot about 5 shots and all that follow after were dead out the barrel. Probably reach about 10 feet out before dropping from the lack of force. If I would wait a second after the 5 shots and shot again the first couple would come out solid but the issue continues. I went into the manual and saw there was a trouble shooting option for that exact issues, I had already done them all except the Dwell. So I raised the dwell from the stock 15, to 16.. not diffrence, 16 to 17.. a little better got maybe 10 shots through then all else would be dead, raised it to 18 No diffrence. So here I am 1500$ marker right out of the box, "never been used" and it's already having issues.
The marker is solid in your hands feels great and it's one of the best markers i've ever used. When the marker was working correctly it was 100% worth it. The only down side is I got a lemon. Issues out of the box on a 1500$ marker is unacceptable. I will be filling for a return and receiving my money back. On top of that I will be purchasing this marker again and hoping it's just an isolated incident and my next M2 will be working correctly from the start till the finish.
