Dyna-Glo Delux Professional Grade
Better Quality Motors
Dyna-Glo's Permanent Split Capacitor Motor is the most reliable motor style in the industry. It is extremely efficient and durable. Some other heaters employ "Disposable Style" shaded-pole motors that are not Construction Grade. Dyna-Glo's motor provides better performance and longer life.
Reliable and Safe
Dyna-Glo utilizes a low pressure 0.5 PSI system, which consistently achieves maximum BTU outputs, even in extremely cold environments. Higher pressure 10-20 PSI heaters can have reduced BTU output as the temperature drops, can freeze the tank, and can be more dangerous than low pressure heaters, in the event of a leak. Dyna-Glo's low pressure heater is better quality and more safe.
Dyna-Glo's brass nozzle is the most durable burner system in the market. Brass nozzles provide reliable performance, and they are indestructible, compared to stamped stainless burners.
Most Durable Motor Mount
Dyna-Glo mounts the motor to a sturdy bracket, secured to the lower shell. There are easier and less expensive ways to mount the motor to the rear fan guard, but with rear mounted motors, a bump on the back can cause a misaligned motor/fan. Dyna-Glo's design is much more durable, to ensure better performance and a longer life.
Construction Grade Base
Dyna-Glo's fully enclosed steel base keeps dust/debris out, ensuring a a longer life than heaters that have open bases or plastic bases.
Adjustable Heat Angle
Under 5 Min Unboxing/Assembly
The 10 foot Hose and Regulator is included. Assembly takes less than 3 minutes. Simply attach the handle, connect the hose and regulator to the heater and the tank, and plug it in. Dyna-Glo provides instant heat, and it couldn't be faster or easier. (Please read the entire manual before first use.)
An integrated safety sensor shuts off the heater, in the unlikely event of a flame-out or overheat situation, to keep you and your project safe. The motor is UL Listed, and the heater is certified by CSA for safety.

Top customer reviews
Looks to me that the manufacturer actually addressed all of the issues raised by previous buyers and I wanted to give an honest and current review of the product. If your not sure about buying, these guys offer 30 day money back guarantee. I'm not shy about returning stuff but looks like this one will be a keeper. I'll update should anything change from the above. Hope you have same experience.
However, something to note for this heater -- maybe any of this kind -- it can create unwanted, movie quality, billowing flames.
When I went to start it up today, garage was about 25F -- in the teens overnight. I turned on the fan and my wife commented that it really wasn't that loud. I said "wait til I turn on the gas!"
I did turn on the gas.
She said "is all of that flame supposed to be coming out the end?"
"What Flames are you talking about?"
I had been straddling the heater so I could bend over it and hit the starter and wasn't watching the output end.
As I stood up and lifted my leg over and turned to the business end of the heater -- there were beautiful whirling flames swirling around the opening probably 12-18 inches or so. YIKES! Upon reflection, had I put my leg down where there "used to be no flames" when I used this thing a month or so ago -- my leg would have likely caught on fire. YIKES!
Figuring I'd started it wrong or something, I turned it off and tried again. Flames -- like a movie special effect! I was waiting for a genie or something to come puffing out. Flames! And no marshmallows!
So, I figured that the problem was not enough air flow in the tube -- which is why it was actually quieter than I remembered when the outside temp was in the 40s. I let the fan "warm up" and come to normal RPM -- then started it again and the flames stayed in the heater.
Lesson Learned: When it's really cold out and you need a heater -- you have to let this heater warm up before you turn the gas on. Unless you need that sort of special effect for a YouTube video or something. Make sure you point it toward an open space with no flammable materials when you start it (just in case)...and obviously watch where you put your feet.
Also - in contrast to others, I don't get a continuous "clicking" of the ignitor on this one - a couple a clicks to start then the ignitor rod gets red hot and I imagine that keeps things lit if they feel like going out. Hopefully there are no more special features to find on this heater.
Overall, I'm happy with the purchase for the price. I would buy it again on sale if I ever need another.
