I wish I had paid closer attention to the reviews before I ordered this bike. We almost had the entire thing put together, when we tried to attach the front wheel and found that the front fork was too narrow for the wheel. After calling Dynacraft, it was obvious that this is very common with many of their bikes. I am in the process of sending back to Amazon, but an even bigger problem is trying to disassmeble this thing to fit back in the box. Trying to pull the handlebar shaft back out is next to impossible (still haven't been able to get it out). Even if the fork was okay and we had kept the bike, my son wouldn't be able to raise the handlebars as he grew taller. I'm sick over the hours lost with this piece of junk! Don't waste your money or time!

Someone else had written about this problem and my wife forewarned me but I figured that our bike would be in perfect working order. She was right….this time.

I assembled the bike fairly quickly until it came time to attach the forward fork(s) to the wheel hub. The welds on the fork were clearly manufactured in error, about 1" off where they should have been. After spending about an hour heating and bending the forks into a position that would allow the wheel to mate, I finally succeeded. All this happened Christmas Eve around midnight. I was bitter for buying this bike when we had other options, but determined as I had to produce a working bike by the morning.

Are son loves his new bike and I feel confident that my modifications provide a safe bike for him to ride. Just thought I would pass on the info so others can avoid the same problem that I ignored.

Fork bent to the extent front wheel could not be installed. If I wouldn't have attempted assembly on Christmas Eve I'd be returning this bike. Instead I bent the fork to make wheel fit, but its not entirely straight.

Second, training wheels were missing which meant a last minute trip to target to find a set... Yea, I realize i should be doing this before Christmas Eve but doesn't change the fact the bike is defective/damaged and missing parts.

Other than that seems like a pretty nice bike for the money.

We got this bike for our son as a 4th birthday gift. It went together quite easily and rides great! My only complaint is that the chain guard was rubbing on the chain, making a lot of noise. My husband modified the chain guard just a little to stop the rub and now it's great. Our son is no longer pedaling his little feet off and not getting far. Fantastic bike for the price.

We ordered this bike for our 4 year old, and it exceeded my expectations. All the parts were included and in great condition. Putting it together was simple; my husband had never assembled a bike before, but he had no problems. It only took about 20-30 minutes total. The colors are much more vibrant than the picture portrays, and we are thrilled with the appearance. My son has never ridden a bike, but had no problem jumping on it and taking off. He rode it all weekend with no issues.

I would highly recommend this bike if you are in the market, and you can't beat the price.

My 4 year old needed a new bike and we didn't want to spent a ton on one since he will more than likely need a new one next summer (growth spurts). So this was the perfect choice. My son loves it. We were able to put the bike together in no time.

Similar to another review, the bike came with bent forks. Had to bend them manually to get the front wheel on. The forks are exactly "skimpy" either. So, either it was wrong from manufacturing or it was improperly handled through the packaging, warehousing and shipment process. Not exactly pleased with the result.

Purchased this for my boy's birthday. The look on his face was worth the price. Bike came nearly pre-assembled, all I had to do was install the handlebars, front wheel and pedals. I adjusted the brakes to be a little more responsive, but overall was impressed with the quick assembly. Only downside is that the front tire isn't exactly true. Doesn't effect performance per se, but still annoying that I'm going to have tospend an additional hour adjusting the spokes.
