Product Description

Product Description

BakBalls can immediately relieve your back pain and stiffness. By exerting localised pressure on stiff joints, BackBalls allow you to safely self-treat your back pain. BakBalls have been designed by an Olympic Physiotherapist to match the anatomy of your spine so the therapeutic force of the BakBalls is delivered directly onto the most commonly painful regions of the spine. Using BakBalls daily can loosen a stiff and painful spine, accelerate your recovery from back injuries, and reduce the chance of your back pain recurring. BakBalls can reduce the stiffness in your back by reversing the effects of poor posture. Poor posture elongates the spine (joints, ligaments, discs and muscles) which leads to painful and stiff backs. Through direct pressure from lying on BakBalls, the effect of sitting in poor slouched postures is reversed which then enables you to sit in more ideal postures.

These balls are hard hard hard but one I relaxed a bit and stuck it out they helped to break down the toughened muscled in my upper back, lessening my pain and breaking up the problem. Worth what I paid. I'll never "enjoy" using them but I definitely enjoy the results.

I'm a physical therapy student and am familiar with a variety of mobilization and release tools. I myself have terrible tightness in my thoracic spine (rib cage area) and these allow me to release and mobilize each segment easily. I can also apply as much or as little force as I need without pressure being put on the spinous processes of my vertebrae (pointy bones in the middle of the spine). Much more effective than two tennis balls in a sock. My favorite thing is laying in bed with the bak balls at the base of my skull and just feeling the tightness and tension melt away so I sleep like a baby. Total life savers

was introduced to BakBalls by my chiropractor. was lucky that I managed to try it before making my purchase.
they worked very well in getting to the hard-to-reach spots in between the shoulder blades.
instantly relieves tension.
will recommend this to all with such problematic areas!

It works as advertised but it is terribly uncomfortable for me to use... I do believe it will adjust things other products may not help with but wow can it be painful. Yes, I would buy it again but this I reserve for use when nothing else works.

I bought this specifically to roll this up and down my spine to get to those muscles that are right under the spine. It is great for this. But what I also discovered is that it works very well for the butt and thigh muscles as well. I was using a single yoga ball to loosen these muscles which is very hard to do. This does the same thing but it is easier.
When I first opened it and felt that it was a hard plastic, I thought it would be uncomfortable, but it is not.
It is very useful.

I use these a few times a week for stiff shoulders or pain at the base of my skull. The pressure helps to relieve knots in muscles and headaches that stem from muscular tightness. I also take on vacation just incase. Saves me from going to the chiropractor all the time!

Seems dangerous for bad backs-- the balls are very hard (and have no grip) and it's impossible to roll them down your back without rolling over your spine. It's very unstable. Tried it a couple of times and will never use it again. Probably better as a dog chew toy.

This product is excellent for those with upper back dysfunction. Yes you can put two tennis balls in a sock and do the same thing but this product is easier to use and firmer. I have found it very helpful with neck and rhomboid spasm. As with any musculoskeletal issue you need to exercise/use it regularly.
