This tape is excellent for its intended purpose, which is sealing the seams between Dynamat sheets. This tape is not a sound deadener in and of itself, as the description might imply. If you need sound deadening strips, you will need to purchase the Dynamat in sheets and cut it yourself into strips.

The title of this is completely misleading, I thought I was buying the actual sound insulation in a roll, but this tape is completely useless if you’re trying to reduce sound, you’re better off going to menards and buying air duct aluminum tape
