I do a lot of creating with die cuts and I've been searching for a way to adhere very intricate designs. I think I've tried everything; aerosol spray glue, glue sticks, a Xyron machine, tape runners, glue dots, and most of the highly-touted glues I've come across on blogs. Each has its pros and cons, the "cons" mostly being that ANY wet glue will leave residue and often "squishes" out through the die cut design if you use too much. The Xyron works well, however you really need to trace the pattern with a stylus before removing it from the carrier sheet or else you'll be left with a sticky film within the design. This can be very time-consuming.
I think I've finally found the answer with E6000 Adhesive Spray. I tried it last night on a very detailed die cut, following the directions and spraying from about 10 inches above the paper. I noticed immediately how quickly this stuff dries and the complete lack of stickiness. This glue is water-based, strong, non-staining, and adheres beautifully. The bottle is pump-action, rather than aerosol, so you have a lot of control over where the glue goes. I checked my project this morning and each intricate hole in the die cut was free of staining or stickiness (and my tweezers and fingers weren't fuzed together, as they usually are). I'm anxious to try it with glitter and embellishments. Great stuff!

I have been using this with a tiny paint brush, the sprayer gets clogged and even with lots of care and attention it still sprays in random directions more than half the time. But I will continue with brush. It seals paper to glass fine for me. I let it dry for at least 3 hours.

I built architectural models and build the topological area with layers of foam core boards. Just competed a model using this product and am very satisfied for the following reasons: (1) no smell, (2) little overspray, (3) no lift off after completion. This last reason is perhaps the most important. I previously used the typical aerosol sprays and had to repair a number of lift offs, often after the topo was spray painted. So, I am a very happy camper!

OMG….can I tell you I have used SO SO glues and adhesive but this product ROCKS!!. I was getting so frustrated with the glues I bought for my designing, crafting, creative needs that I thought I would loose my mind. Anyone out there who creates anything of any kind knows that if you do not have the right glue for whatever your project that that is IT for the project regardless how it looks. If you cannot keep it together or it does not stand up you have no project at all. This is what I was coming up against every time until I took a chance with this. I have to say I bought the glue form or tube form and was slightly impressed. I read about the cancerous hazards and despite my strong reservations I felt desperate to find out just how good it was. I did not like having to wear a mask or open a window but with this spray you just spray it. Hold the item for a bit and leave it alone overnight or longer. Not touching with it or messing it allows the strong adhesion to take form. I am throwing out what I have and just staying with this. I work with leather, fabric, plastic, paper and it just does a great job!!

Make sure you clean after every use. I use GooGone or WD…these work great on removing gummy and sticky things. I use a q tip to clean the nozzle part and it works like magic for next use!! For me this maintains the nozzle and prevents the spray from spraying a straight line rather than a wide mist, which is what it is meant to do….

What a great product…now I just need a gallon of this stuff!!

UPDATE: It is 2016 and I discovered that applying E6000 with a paint brush, sponge brush is the KEY. I no longer spray directly on item, instead I either spray in a dish or non stick mat and apply to item or I spray directly on the item and spread with brush.

Easy to apply and easy to clean up. After using the spray I would run warm water through the sprayer and after doing this the spray would come out smoothly without clogging. Just make sure you pump all water out of the sprayer before putting it back in the glue bottle. I will definitely order this again.

Perfect for all the tiny paper cuts and designs to adhere to my handmade cards. I used to dab tiny bits of glue to each section and pray it would stick! Now I just spray.....and Wuala...it sticks!!!

I really like this adhesive and I use it quite often for sticking down intricate dies. I usually put the piece to be glued into a small box and spray it there. It sticks well but does give you a little time to move a die cut if you need to.
