A decent monitor and receiver will cost you $200 and up. If that seems extreme then this could do the job for less. Resolution isn't fantastic but its meant for FPV which isn't exactly HD either. I haven't put it through all the paces yet but after using for a full day with some of my micro flyers and it held up good. I got about 1.5 hours on the battery. It also comes with a JST input so you can always put your own battery if you need more life. I don't understand why so many people complain about the battery. I ask you to find me a monitor with a longer battery life that isn't $300+ . My son who is 7 is using it with his RC cars and loves it. AutoScan works well for me. The range is decent and clear for the most part. May not be as wide spread as a pro model but not bad by any means either.

Check out the video below of a flight I recorded with its DVR function :
The monitor has a built in sun visor to help minimise glare on the screen while in use, this also folds down nicely to become the cover for the screen when not being used.
The monitor uses all 40 channels this is split between 5 groups of 8 channels each, this may sound scary if you are new to drone flight but luckily this monitor also has an auto search function that will scan all those channels for any signals being received.
The monitor also has a built in battery of 2000mAh/7.4V Li-Polymer that provides a good amount of use time between charges. There is also a socket on the monitor and a cable supplied to allow plugging in of additional batteries while out and about with the monitor, the only issue i had was the non UK plug provided but this was a mere case of finding one of my multiple adapters.
If you wish to change the antenna included with this monitor then you may require adapters as the connections for the antenna are male and to upgrade the 2 whip aerials included will require adapters, although the included aerials do provide pretty good range.
Improvement Possibilities – This section should in no way be thought of as negative, this is just ideas I had for possible future thoughts for developing the product further.
I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

Meh. Features looked good on paper, but the internal rechargeable battery doesn't last an hour with a full charge. Returned.Published 22 days ago by R. LaBarbera
It's a really nice screen in theory, but fails in practice. DVR is useless, only 15FPS or so, the diversity VTX gets 1/2 the range of my single antenna model, and the battery dies... Read morePublished 1 month ago by x0054

Bad: Not very intuitive to use. Value is poor as similar units sell on eBay for 50% less. Good: works well after you figure out how to access menus and manipulate the various... Read morePublished 4 months ago by Amazon Customer
Pretty awesome so far! Had one time where it would not turn off because of some kind of error but I let the battery die down and once I charged it up again it worked fine. Read morePublished 4 months ago by Ian F.
