Like my headline suggests, I only bought this to connect my computer to my TV, since my video card was already hooked up to two monitors. It's a pretty cheap card that doesn't offer much in terms of performance, so I'd say it's best used for the purposes I used it for, but not much else. It's already starting to show some signs of wear and it's only been close to two years.

I use my desktop PC for gaming and advanced pro-level photographic applications, including Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom (among other processing software).

My <2-year-old PC is already a pretty fast machine, with an Intel 3.4 gig CPU and 2 gigs of RAM and on-board ATI-200, but it was straining and choppy with the graphics of current games like NWN2 MOB. On the other hand, I didn't want to spend $300 - $600 for a graphics card to upgrade a computer that only cost about $500 to begin with.

This card is the perfect solution! Not only is the price right in the ballpark of reasonability, but I was very surprised at the improvement of the quality of the graphics. On rerunning some of the gaming sequences, the improvement was simply astonishing!

Great value and performance from a proven supplier in ATI Radeon.

This is an ok mid-ranged graphics card perfect for gamers on a budget. It supports video and 3D graphics very well without getting too hot, bearing in mind this card has no fan, only a heatsink which works very well and looks very nice too. The only down fall I found was that the software and drivers provided effected my system causing errors to arise so I removed all of the software and installed the latest drivers of the Asus website. This seems to have fixed the problem but still some disturbance remains but I'll soon sort it out.
To conclude I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to either playback HD video or the casual gamer who can settle with low to medium on the latest games.
