I purchased this card several months ago to upgrade from the same class but in the 5xxx series, so the 5670. That was a great little card. And so is this. This is certainly no powerhouse though. It will NOT run the newest games on maximum settings at an enjoyable frame rate. It just won't. Odds are though, you're not looking for perfect, or you wouldn't be looking at a $100 card. Therefore, this card does it's job, and I am very satisfied.

Let me list some stuff:

Some pros:
-- It gets the job done. With this card I can jump right in and crank all the settings up without worrying too much. My normal procedure for a new game is to crank it, play it, and then tune it down just a hair to get that smooth play with fancy graphics.
-- It's silent. I can't hear the fan over my tower (and it's pretty quiet) until the fan is over 40%, which it should never get to (I'll explain why in the cons section)
-- It's small. Don't have to worry if you have a small case or lots of PCI cards. It'll fit.
-- Can throw this in any crappy old computer so long as there's a PCI-e and you'll get a good graphics boost. It's not demanding as far as power consumption goes, and is slot-powered, so no extra cabling needed!

Some cons:
-- This is the ONLY 6670 on the market that does NOT support Crossfire. (You can double check the validity of that, but the point is, this card does NOT) If you're not planning on using crossfire, then this is your card. If you are... this is not your card.
-- As stated above, it is slot-powered. This doesn't come without a price (this applies to ALL slot powered cards). Kiss overclocking goodbye. It will not overclock.

We bought this for my son's computer, so he could play some of the higher level games and continue his videography on his HP Pavilion. He can now play Portal 2 on its highest settings with absolutely no latency or any other issues. The board requires no additional power pigtails, drawing solely off the motherboard slot. At first, I was concerned about my power supply (300W) being insufficient, but we have had no problems. Of course, we only run it with one monitor. Driving multiple displays will, of course, increase the power requirements dramatically, so keep this in mind if you plan on using more than one. It is also incredibly quiet, even when its running full bore. Finally, we have had no problems concerning heat dissipation. We monitored the temperature in the case over the first month and have seen no major peaks or other concerns.

For the price (under $100), you cannot beat the performance, especially for low-powered desktops. As long as the area just to the right of the slot is pretty clear, installation is a breeze. I had to re-route a cable or two, but nothing to dramatic. The instructions are straight-forward, just make sure you get the drivers from the website, as the drivers provided in the included CD are very old. All-in-all, we are extremely satisfied with this purchase. I would strongly recommend this video card to to most anyone, except the extremely hard-core gamer.

If you play 3D games, Skyrim, in my case, this card gives the major Bang for the buck. I can't believe the improvement this card brings out:

I can play games at higher resolution and detail, real eye candy.
Game play is much more fluid, makes maneuvering easier and more enojoyable.

You don't need $300 cards to enjoy 3D games.

I bought this card to replace an Nvidia GT 220 that started to fail. I had a slight bit of trouble with the installation but I think it may have just been because the DVI cable wasn't fully seated. I did get the card installed and working. I downloaded the drivers direct from AMD before I even noticed the cdrom in the box. I probably would have ignored it anyway; cdroms that ship with products usually have outdated drivers.

Anyway, I am very satisfied with this card. The performance is way better than the card it replaced (according to graphics card benchmarks). I haven't really noticed; I'm not much of a gamer. I bought this card because it was recommended on a web site that called it the most powerful card available that didn't need an external power connecter (all power comes through the slot). Since I don't do a lot of gaming the low power was appealing.

I also liked the large fan (the larger the fan the slower it needs to spin so it makes less noise). I can't hear the fan at normal operating temperatures with the case closed. The fan also looks very cool. I don't have a window in my case but I still like knowing that my graphics card looks good.

I recently bought and have installed this card. It replaced at 6450 (horrible card) with 1gb ddr3. Let me say that this card is miles better than the 6450. The ATI catalyst even upgraded without a hitch (I had to do a system reload when the 6450 tried this). All my instability is gone and it runs what I want very satisfied with this card. Now this isn't a top end card - this is more well off the ground and definitely not on board video kind of card. The price for me with a $20 rebate was awesome. The Nvidia GTX550 would be the next step up and it is nearly double in price (50-70 depending on brands). But this is a very good card and takes care of me and my middle of the road needs. It will take up 2 slots. The fan/cpu/heatsink is just that big. So even though the faceplate isn't 2 slot big you still need to allow for some extra room. It is short enough though so you shouldn't have to wedge it at all. It isn't crossfire compatible, but so what my MB only have one PCI-E slot and very few have 2. The 6450 was and I think this may be part of why it was so bad. It doesn't require a extra power lead like the GTX550 so most standard pc's can do take - BUT this is likely the top tier card before you have to replace your power supply for a big card.

DDR5 memory and well away from $100 and the stability and performance it is a gem. It didn't light my hair on fire - didn't wow me but this ins't my first video card. Still it is very good and unless your willing to crack open the wallet wider - hey I got other things I need to buy - this card is good and solid.
