If you are like me and find the toe box on shoes to be constrictive, then these are what you are looking for. I had been getting shoes a bit bigger than my foot just to get enough room for the little piggies to spread out and not rub each either the wrong way. With these shoes I did not need to do that. The piggies are happy!
I find these shoes to be extremely stable in my swing and very comfortable on my feet. Sadly due to an injury to my left knee I'm not currently walking the course like I want to do but I feel confident in saying that these shoes would fit that bill nicely, they are that comfortable.
I can't compare these to other brands that are in the upper echelon of golf shoes, but if there are better shoes out there than these they are achieving a very lofty height.
If you have wider feet or feel like your toes are constricted then I would take a hard look at these shoes as your next pair.
To cut to the chase, I wore these today for the 5th time. Admittedly the course was a little wet from yesterday's rain, but not sopping wet.. My right shoe leaked through the toebox by the 6th hole. My sock was saturated by the end of the round. Obviously, this is very disappointing. I am hoping that it is just a defective shoe as I cannot imagine that others would tolerate this. They are not cheap, but I thought they would be more durable than 4 rounds!.
The bummer is that I have already tossed the box that they came in, and I bought them from a third-party seller on Amazon. Hopefully they ( or Ecco ) will stand behind these.
Yes they are pricey compared to others.....but try them on and you will see how good these feel on your feet.
The sole is the shoe is a hard plastic, and isn't very flexible. I'm sure it's very durable however, and probably will last you forever. Other than the stiffness they were quite comfortable.
The quality of the materials and workmanship is great.
