Power adjustment allows you to change the mirror position by power switch in the car, so you don't have to get off the car or reach out to manually adjust the mirror, saving time and safety.
When the mirror is heated, the heater behind the mirrors quickly heats the mirror surface, slowly removing the rain or mist on the mirror surface, reducing the risk of driving.
The telescoping function is manual. It only requires you to pull the mirror away from your vehicle, extending your line of sight so that you can easily see the side of the trailer so you can safely change lanes, traffic or parking.
The convex Lens provide a better and wider rear view angle. It reflects the rear, side and underside of the car, allowing the driver to see the position indirectly. It acts as a “second eye” to improve visibility, reduce blind spots, improve road safety, and significantly improve styling and appearance. When the mirror is heated, the heater behind the mirrors quickly heats the mirror surface, slowly removing the rain or mist on the mirror surface, reducing the risk of driving.
How To Install The Towing Mirrors?
Step 1:Remove the plastic plate fixing screw from the car with a screwdriver. Remove the plastic sheet and you can see the fixed screw of the rear view mirror and the door. Use the screwdriver to remove the screw.

Oh and the little fish eye mirror doesn't move independently of the larger mirror they are attached.
To address problems from other reviews:
The mirrors were well packaged for shipping and arrived without any damage. Bolts were proper length (the same as the factory mirrors) and caused no issues during installation. The wiring is correct so my up/down and left/right operate as they should on installation along with the defrost function. I've driven at speeds up to 80 MPH and have no vibration in the glass and have a stable view with the mirrors extended. The mirrors are not canted up and sit level on this year and model.
Overall I am very pleased with these towing mirrors in form and function. Would purchase from this company again.
For our 2001 Dodge Ram 2500. The mirrors arrived in 4 days, in perfect condition. Very well packaged. No directions. I searched YouTube for how to remove door panel using my truck's year and model. That was very helpful. I slid a pickle fork tool, under the door panel, to pop the clips out. I bought new door panel clips because I wanted a secure fit when the panel was put back on. I YouTube searched how to install towing mirrors for my truck's year and model. Didn't find exactly the same model but the info was helpful. It'll also help if you have another person to help, but you can do it on your own. I installed the passenger side first. Use the new bolts and brackets because the new mirrors are significantly heavier than stock mirrors. Make sure to get the double end threaded bolts all the way screwed into the mirror first, or they will be too long. No problem on the passenger side install, the power worked fine. The drivers side didn't go as smoothly. The mirror installed just fine. I hooked the electrical back up to the mirror and to the electric mirror moving motor. I did a test before installing the door panel. I was able to adjust both mirrors, but only for a moment, and then it stopped working. So did my radio and the truck's interior lights. After investigating problem, I figured out that the IOD fuse blew. The fuse panel is to the lower left of the steering wheel with the driver's door is open. The IOD fuse has a black fuse holder and it's near the center of the fuses. The broken fuse was a 10 amp so I replaced it with a 15 amp and everything was working again. Hopefully that will be a permanent fix. When reinstalling the drivers door panel, the top bolt end of the 3 bolts, that hold the mirror on, was hitting the electric mirror motor, that's inside the door panel. The door panel wouldn't fit right so I hack sawed the end of the bolt off, right at the outside of the nut. The nut end still touches the mirror motor so I made sure not to over tighten the door panel in that area. Looks fine, works great. Other than a couple modifications, the mirrors are of excellent quality, heavy and a perfect, secure fit to the outside of truck. Can't beat the price! I haven't gone for a drive yet but I don't anticipate any wobbling.
Google how to remove door panel, “Dodge Ram door panel removal”. First video that comes up is great.
Next, you have to cut the supplied studs down to work. For two of the three studs cut one stud in half, file the ends smooth. For the third stud that’s exposed when the door is open. You have to cut both ends of the stud shorter. The short studs are just under 1.25”, and the last stud about 1.5”. See my pictures for some visuals. Also make sure the pins in the female plug will line up with the male plug. The first one I plugged in bent one of the pins down causing the left and right function to not work. Check they work before re-installing the door panel.
Other than the first mirror taking about 40 minutes to install compared to 10 minutes the second took the mirrors seems like oem. I have not tried the heated feature or know anything about longevity. I put these on a truck that will be sold here soon.
