Make sure you disable core stepping. I did not know and that goes for other boards too I suppose as someone just told me that is a CPU feature in the 3820. I recommend only the 3930K not the 3820 or this board can be very difficult to use as to get it to overclock at all. This is one of the very first LGA2011 boards ever and you had better be smart because there are instructions on how to keep the overclock as the bios will revert your settings without asking you. I am running another board now with the Ivy Bridge where it seems to me they the industry expected the lack of know-how of the consumer. Mabey I choose the wrong memory but those memory charts are just about worthless.
