I tested this in two areas where there were oil stains, the driveway and garage. Takes forever to dry, a few days. In the driveway it never really dried. In the garage it actually made a larger stain with the product. In the first photo you can see the small oil stains. The larger stain above them was caused by this product. In the second photo it does not just sweep up. I'll need to scrub it, but hell I can do that without making such a big or even bigger mess. Stick to kitty litter and degreaser or just try and use protection with oil products!!

Purchased to use on the driveway at a home we were renting in a nice neighborhood because the previous tenants had cars that leaked. We wanted to be good neighbors and stewards of the home so we tried to clean the place up a bit. Applied this product several times under varying conditions to the stains. The stains faded (which they may have done on their own, if left alone) but never went away. I wouldn't buy this product again.

An amazing product that really works. I spread this all over an old oil stain on the driveway, and the stain is just about gone. And we are talking about a stain that’s been there for YEARS. However, I used the “I forgot about it” method, which means that I left the product on the stain for over a week before I removed it. I think it had something to do with the fact that the front of my car totally covered the spot and prevented me from seeing this little project-in-the-works. When I finally remembered about it and used a broom to sweep off the powder, the results were extremely impressive. I did not buy a big enough bottle to do the whole stain, so I will just get a bigger bottle, and keep on applying this and sweeping it off until I am satisfied with the result. For an oil stain that has soaked into concrete and then weathered the 4 seasons for years, it’s probably realistic to say that you will need to treat the spot more than once, but eventually, this product WILL remove the stain off of concrete.

I'm not sure what the less than five star reviews are about. This is not the first time I've purchased Pour-N-Restore and it has worked perfectly both times. This time I borrowed a chain saw that leaked oil all over my driveway so I bought a bottle, poured some on each stain on a clear, dry day, and let it sit all day, all night and into the morning. I made sure the sun had dried off an dew from the night before, got down with a stiff brush, scrubbed each spot and hosed the area off. Oil signs gone.
One word of advice. If you don't finish the bottle, bring it into the house for winter storage. I left my last bottle in our detached garage over the winter and it because useless. It dried up in the bottle.
Once againL Great Stuff!

Just purchased the smaller size bottle of this product. Used it on a 9” pie plate sized car oil stain. Nothing worked prior to buying this. E.g power washing, degreasers, etc. Our local Lowes here in Florida can’t keep enough of it on their shelves, so I turned to Amazon. My husband treated the driveway paver oil stain with about a third of the small bottle. Poured it on at 0800 and brushed off the powder end product at 3PM. OIL STAIN COMPLETELY GONE! SEEING IS BELIEVING. Highly recommend.

Somewhat disappointed with its performance. OK on light stains but not dark stains where car had dripped oil for some time. The instructions do say that heavy stains may require a second treatment. However, given the little coverage I got from the first bottle, I decided to try something else. So, rather than a second coat, I used 100% TSP and scrubbed. That did the job. On some other stains that I had not used the pour-n-restore on (due to limited coverage) I first used TSP. It did OK on the light stains but again only made a marginal difference on the really dark stains. On these stains, I then tried WD-40. In combination the TSP and WD-40 worked quite well, especially after I washed off the WD-40 residue with soap and water. I think it would have been more effective using the WD-40 first.

I must admit the I was skeptical. A poorly "seated" oil filter during a recent oil change resulted in a "spill" of about 16 oz of oil on my concrete driveway. The stain spread to a circular shape of about 3 feet in diameter before soaking into the concrete. Pressure cleaning helped, but only removed the surface oil. The dark stain of the embedded oil remained. I decided to give this product a try, even though I was not expecting good results. To my amazement the oil stain was almost completely removed. Only a faint outline of the stain remained ...

I live in southern California so the humidity is NOT high, and the temps are not extreme, and the oil stains were on my concrete garage floor. I've included before and after shots with some of the oil stains. You can definitely see a difference, but night and day it is not.

It cleaned it up... a little. I ended up using the product three times as per recommendations on the bottle. First I just applied the product, then swept it up. Then I applied it again and swept it up. 3rd time i used a nylon brush to scrub it in, left it over night and swept it up. Each time the oil stains were less, but it's not a miracle product where it's restored to new never having any stains at all.
