EFT is one of the most powerful healing methods available. But it's not quite as simple as tapping on points. It's the set up statements. It's the words we use as we tap. The words are everything. Practitioners constantly caution that 'specificity' is what makes EFT effective -- that, and knowing how to eliminate reversals. But it's the words that we use that can change everything -- or not.
EFT is beautiful on so many counts. That we self-administer -- wow. That we can do it almost any time, anywhere -- wow. That we can play with it, experiment with it -- and bring about profound changes.
This book is loaded with terrific information. Sure, it's on the more expensive side. But $40? What do you pay to see a therapist one time? Therapists are great; I'm seeing one. And EFT? Man. This is where the healing is. Therapy helps to identify emotions and experiences and beliefs. EFT can actually correct them, heal them, heal US, help us to become whole.
It's not a quick fix. Nothing is. But relative to a lot of things out there, it sure does seem quick.
Buy the book. Read it. Practice it. And stay on that journey to wholeness. Jung is credited with saying, "I'd rather be whole than good," in his writings about the shadow. Let's keep moving toward healing, and wholeness. Whatever good comes from that process will serve us best, as well as those we love.
