It cuts a perfect 2 inch circle.
My hand will start aching after cutting about 100 circles of medium card stock.
I have not tried it on heavy card stock, just medium.
You can see what you are cutting through the hole before you squeeze it.
I definitely recommend these punches.
The second hundred... Not going well. I just had probably 10 in a row snag and tear instead of cutting cleanly. At this point I'm just mostly trying to decide if I want to return this or just throw it out. It was very expensive, but it is the principle of the thing...
The new punch seized up without punching a single disc! So now I'm going to send *two* non-functional punches back to Amazon, and hope against hope to get a replacement that works. This is a very bad example of quality control!
The reason I'm trying to get a 2" punch from these guys is that I have a 1" and a 1.5". and both work well.
EDIT: I disassembled both non-functioning punches, and found that the moving part of the punch was slightly oversize, and interfering with the cutter. A few minutes with a file, cleaned up w. fine sandpaper, and it works. Engineer resistant, not engineer proof!
