Made durable and sharp.

I am fond of this EK brand. The punches are well made with sharp cutters. They punch through vinyl sticker material with ease where the normal “scissor” handle type can’t. I now own four sizes ranging from 3/16” to 1/2” with the 1/8” size on the wishlist. I use them to make fishing lure eyes from waterproof sticker material. I punch with the hole punch upside down to align and get the most out of the sticker material. They collapse and lock to a compact size for storage in tool kit.

Limited Number Of Pages Possible & Unit Launches Holes Everywhere.

It is an OK punch for very small volume jobs. It only accommodates very few thin pages and definitely no more than 2 manila folder weight pages. You have to apply a good deal of pressure to make this work on much more than that. One quirky issue is that the punch launches the holes everywhere - I spent more time cleaning up the mess than actually doing the job. It is a cheap option and I doubt the cutter will withstand too many cuts. One great feature on this that I will use when shopping for another punch is the viewing window over the hole location - it is a really helpful when placing the punch right were you want it. This is good in a pinch but not for long term use.
SECOND ACT
Despite what I said about the larger hole punch I couldn't find ANY reasonably priced hole punches with a view window so I had to go back and order this punch in a smaller size. This one showers me with confetti too but what's a girl to do.

Great for 10mm glass cabochon images.

I make images for snap jewelry which has a picture glued to glass and glued to a base. The base that is 12mm is best with glass that is 10mm. This punch is perfect for 10mm glass cabochons. This is why I ordered it and I’m so happy.

Defective punch, you pay the postage!

The punch had a defect and didn't cut paper cleanly. As the packaging looked to have been opened before, I'm going to guess that someone else returned it for the same reason.
Shame on the company for not tossing the worthless punch, but instead reselling it to the next rube.
Even though the product was defective, and therefore worthless, I still had to pay the return shipping. A complete waste of money and very disappointing.

Does not punch cleanly

This hole punch does not punch cleanly and leaves the circles attached to the paper; i.e. "hang chads" You have to tear the circles off the paper which distorts the circles and leaves them imperfect. It is also very hard to move the paper along and punch multiple holes quickly. The paper gets caught in the punch and has to be removed with difficulty after each punch.

For Thin Punches Only

The hole size is perfect for my needs but don't count on this punch being able to get past 1 sheet of thick index stock. I purchased it to enlarge the holes in the hang tags of strands of beads so that they would fit on a jewelry hanger. Hang tags are typically a folded glossy index stock, stapled in place. This punch just isn't strong enough to do the job. I have to remove the staple and punch one hole at a time.

100 punches and not one clean cut

I tried over 100 times and did not get a single clean cut all the way through. I was using single sheets of printer paper, but this punch would always mangle one section of the circle and fail to punch it out completely. All in all, it was not worth the money.

I got this 3/8-inch punch to punch holes in round Avery labels to create my own stick-on Aerogarden labels. (No way am I going to iron on those replacement labels Aerogarden sells.) I wish now I had gotten the next size larger, but this will get the job done until I do order it.

A neat thing about this punch is that it locks closed, and then you can stack different sized punches. It is, of course, designed for crafts, but it would also make a nice little punch for punching marketing bookmarks to carry a tassle or to hand on a hook at a display table.
