I recently purchased and installed the ASUS 560Ti after my old video card (from the now defunct BFG) literally blew up. Having not looked at video cards for 3-4 years, I was totally lost on what to buy. I saw myself in the $250 range, and after looking at EVGA and XFX, decided to go with ASUS primarily because of the dual card fans and the heatsink design (excessive heat is a bad thing).

Having installed the card (remember to go to Safe Mode and completely remove your old video card drivers with Drive Sweeper, other wise your computer will complete grind to a halt mid-game), I have been nothing short of amazed at the video quality.

My last card could run the modern games (primarily RIFT, Deus Ex) at average settings and maintain a good frame rate.
With the ASUS 560Ti, I am now running games at the highest settings with no drop in framerate or game experience.
I can finally see what the games were meant to look like!
I have always been a big supporter of ASUS motherboards, and with this purchase I think I might be a lifer for ASUS video cards.

Great value for the money, actually better than great value, exceptional value.

Let me start off by saying that this is a NON reference GPU with aftermarket cooling. That being said im going to go through some pros and cons.

Pros:
1. Non reference PCB. The PCB is made differently from most other brands making this a very unique card.
2. Direct CUII cooling keeps this thing not even lukewarm. The heatsinks (there are more than 1) and copper pipe work very well together to keep my temperatures at idle and load between 32 and 45 degrees Celsius, respectively.
3. Asus Smart Doctor lets you overclock your card, set fan profiles and monitor profiles right from your desktop.
4. Maxes out most multiplatform games that are out now at 60 FPS.

Cons:

1. The Drivers from the Asus website will not detect the card making me need to download drivers from Nvidias website.
2. The stock profiles that come with the smart doctor are not good at ALL. I highly recommend setting up your own profile to make sure you keep your temperatures low to lower the chance of freeze and/or BSOD.
3. Takes up 2 PCI-E Slots. If you have a Micro ATX board seriously think about buying this. 2 of these could fit on Micro ATX board but its gonna cut it real close and one card isnt going to have any breathing room.

Overall pretty good card but I really recommend people to do their research behind it.

I actually bought this card for a friend, who's computer I built. He claims the card works amazing and maxed out his graphics on games like Starcraft II and SWTOR. It has a mini-HDMI and two DVI connections, fortunately it comes with a mini-HDMI to regular HDMI adapter so no further purchases should be necessary. If you're looking for a great vid card, give this one a chance.

When I was running only one of these cards I was able to push almost max settings on every game I own, including, World of Warcraft, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Skyrim (with the HD mod installed), Borderlands 2, Civilization V, Guild Wars 2, and Battlefield 4.

It has a hard time running Total War: Shogun at max settings during wars, but this may also be from my processor as well (the card and processor have to share rendering an entire of army of small individually controlled units along with a very smart AI).

Now I have two and I laugh at graphics settings. I've been running this for over a year now.

Blu-rays and 3D play flawless now!

Quick and easy install.
I also downloaded the EVGA Precision X software to customize the card's settings.
It works great and the card now runs extremely cool (28 deg Cel).

1 star off for size and power cable placement.
My HTPC style case barely fits this card in.
The power cable are mashed up inside between the card and the top of the case.
I know the length would fit but didn't think about the power connectors sticking up.

I bought this card for a little over $200 I believe (been awhile so not positive). This card has worked flawlessy from the first time I plugged it in and is still working great today. Right out of the box it played any game I threw at it and still had consistent FPS. I did take another reviewers recommendation on installing MSI Afterburner just so I could tweak the fan settings to run higher to make sure this thing stays cool. Has worked great since I bought it and in a few months it will have been 2 years. Great Product. ASUS has been consistent the last 10 or so years with their products and they release good stuff. I would recommend the brand to anyone. Half of my pc is made out of ASUS. Thanks for the great product ASUS, keep up the great products hopefully for years to come!

This card, while not as hi-spec as a 600-series card, can run modern games on high settings beautifully, while not taking up much space in the tower. It makes for a good card in a mid-tower, especially with an older motherboard, as it plugs into a PCI 2 port. Most new gaming graphics cards need a PCI 3 port, which can only be found on new, expensive motherboards. This card is also SLI capable, so if you upgrade your hardware later on and invest in a new card with SLI, you can link your cards and get higher performance.

In short, this card is a good graphics investment for computers with limited space and those without thousands of dollars to spend on one machine.
